Nvidia Geforce FX 5500 problems

Ok, this is the process I went through. I disabled my onboard (Intel 82845) graphics controller, turned off the computer, unplugged everything, opened it up, and took out the graphics card (Again, Intel 82845) Then screwed in the Nvidia Geforce FX 5500 one. I closed the computer, and pluggd everything back in, then turned it on. The graphics are great, But my computer screen will constantly freeze, then flicker, like a hard refresh on the monitor, Like quickly turning it off, then on. It will also simply flicker. Can someone help me fix this? Also, When I try to play guild wars factions, No matter what settings I put it on, It will freeze frequently for about 30 seconds, then go back to normal. When I try to load a new area, It will immediately go to Leading 100%, Then freeze there for about 5-8 minutes, and let me play after those few minutes, still with the freezing. It did that with the Intel 82845 graphics controller/card also, but there was no freezing, Just loading problems. That was simply because the intel graphics card wasn't good enough.

Thanks, Kam

EDIT - This will also correct your freezing issue.
