Well my friends and I have been bored with guild wars, since we've already done most of the game worth playing, so I decided to think of something fun to do. I couldn't quite find a good place to put this, so this is the best I could do. Feel free to add on your own challenges for people to try.

Here's the list, they're mainly intended to be used with a new character from level 1 and playing through the game and these challenges are in no particular order and you probably shouldn't do them all.
  1. Don't do either 15 attribute quest
  2. Don't use runes or mask that gives +1
  3. Only get armor and weapons from collectors
  4. Don't swap campaigns until you have a protector title
  5. Don't get infused
  6. Leave that plauge stuff on you that gives you degen
  7. Limit your party size to 2 less than the maximum allowed in
  8. Only use skills you obtain from quests
  9. Only use skills from your primary profession
  10. Only use skills from your secondary profession and with or without points in your primary attribute
  11. Don't ever get new armor or weapons (if you're a caster or ranger this is easier)
  12. Don't wear a head piece
  13. Don't wear + energy regeneration part(s) (must rely more on signets, adrenaline and energy management)
  14. Wear all superiors at all times (not duplicates, just one of each, including vigor, unless you're risky and want to play through as a 55 or something)
  15. Don't use an elite skill
  16. Don't bring a full skill bar
  17. Limit how many points you can put into an attribute
  18. Limit how many different attributes you can use

Now I know a lot of people might be thinking this is just a good way to screw over your team mates, but when I had my friends doing the same thing it was a really fun challenge to get on every day, get the team together and work on completing a mission or doing a primary quest. Have fun!

Didnt like the idea at all!!!

I would prefer simple going solo all the time...expecialy whith my SIN since its almost impossible to take 2 or more mobs at once whithout getting killed pretty fast...ooo yes, and using all the atributes and skills the game have to offer off course

Later.

You can increase the challenge and also the fun factor by leaving primary monks out of your party, forget all cookie-cutter builds and invite at least two primary mesmers. Guild Wars feels rotten when people demand certain builds and at least two monks.

No even better, drop the tank.

It's the "tank gathers aggro and then nuke everything around the tank" that makes Guild Wars PvE boring. Drop the tank, let aggro run wild, and PvE is fun again.

Meh, you don't need monks for most missions anyway. Everytime Im in a pug there arent monks and we still get masters half the time.

Anyway..Its kind of an interesting idea. If you arent gonna get infused, you might as well just die at the beginning of the later missions, because you're just gonna be an energy sink.

Wow, just when I think there aren't ANY players who haven't succumbed to the Great God of Boredom, aka Cookie Cutter, someone comes along with even whackier ideas than me, awesome. : )

Thanks for making my morning.

I'm just going to comment that if you don't infuse; all your parties from THK foward will be super pissed at you. Be prepared to be insulted as never before.

Thanks for the feedback, and I don't know if they're all possible, but what the heck lol. Personally right now I'm challenging myself by making a Necro/Monk with only collector items and armors, not getting run, no runes or mask unless it's +armor only, no 30 attributes and degen quest incomplete and a few friends of mine are doing various goals aswell. We are seriously that bored, but not saying I don't go outside or anything, I just simply can't stay outside all day, but the casual sit down and mess around with the challenge is great fun. Especially collector items stuff, that's really something I never did before. Oh yeah and I'm going for survivor title, gotta be super careful lol.

I don't think I understand what your saying, but I highly doubt any monk would facilitate your uninfusedness unless they were a guildie or something

I don't think Guild Wars is the best place to RP, even though it's a roleplaying game.... well at least not in my experiences with it.

Even better, turn your tanks into damage machines (all it takes is maxing the weapon attribute and bringing 3 attack skills), and then don't even worry about aggro since things will die quickly. That would make PvE less boring. Of course, most Warriors are too incompetent to be able to do that.
