A new title suggestion.

Hi all. As many of you may not know, I'm currently working on unlocking every skill of every class on my Ranger. So far I got 5 professions fully done and all the warrior elites...only 212 skills left to go or so.

Anyways, the point is this: we have a title for skills already but it's only for elites. And getting 180, while still difficult, pales in comparison to the amount of time, money and devotion one would need to get every skill on one character.

So if one was to accomplish this, what would he get? Just the skill hunter title which doesn't show that he has all the other skills in addition to the elites.

So I thought, that accomplishing this task deserves it's own title.
And what would that title be? None other than...for example if you were a Ranger,

Getting all the skills for all classes: Grandmaster Ranger
You could of course replace Ranger with whatever the profession would be.

And the way it would work is this:

(Ranger as the example again)
Unlock all primary profession skills: Adept Ranger (1)
Unlocked 1 secondary profession: Advanced Ranger (2)
Unlocked 2 secondary professions: Expert Ranger (3)
Unlocked 3 secondary professions: Elite Ranger (4)
Unlocked 4 secondary professions: Deadly (5)
Unlocked 5 secondary professions: Renowned Ranger (6)
Unlocked 6 secondary professions: Illustrious Ranger (7)
Unlocked 7 secondary professions: Legendary Ranger (8)
Unlocked 8 secondary professions: Master Ranger (9)
Unlocked 9 secondary professions: Grandmaster Ranger (10)

There's an extra 2 professions for the Dervish and Paragon when they come out. And those names are just examples, I'm sure Anet could think of better (but I would prefer if they left in Grandmaster as the last rank. I just like how that sounds)

I think this title fits the criteria for a good title. It's hard to get, it's special, it's cool and shows that you're dedicated to only 1 class (Don't think it's possible to get 2 characters with this title. At least not any normal person).

I'm not sure about this title. All you have to do is get money and just buy them all. Or you could just buy 500k of some internet website and buy all the skills.

Other titles require more than just buying.

seems like a worthless title. I say make a title that's account based for unlocking all skills, not character based. Unless you really have no life and like to farm skill points all day long.

I like the idea, though I would kinda like the title names to be more connected with the class (For example, Melandru's Servant, Wielder of the Elements, that sort of thing). I've been wanting such a title for quite some time, something to do with the professions individually.

Its not bad
but not sure about the reqirment of unlocking 2ndy proff... since it has not really to do with how good of ranger you are.

I would vote for give you a title if you have all the skills of a proff unlock. So having all Warrior skill will give you Master Warrior, all ranger a Master Ranger, and so on. Not a hard title to earn, but meaning ful.

I've been thinking about a title like this for some time. I agree that this should be account based, after all, when you unlock a skill, its for the whole account, and also that the names should sound more interesting than some standard format, as Sientir said.

Also keep in mind you can't have a grandmaster title, because as long as there are expansions, there will be more left to unlock. Just FYI. Although I do like a title for having all of your primary profession skills unlocked, that makes sense to me anyway.

Last time I checked, you have to have skill points to get skills. Which require experience. I'm at 5.3 million and still need 3 mil more to get the 207 or so skill points I need. How is that easy? How is that "just buying"?

I wish it was easy but it's not. It takes a LOT of time to get all the skills.

I do like this idea, "Master Ranger" "Master Warrior" "Master Mesmer" and such for having all of a profession's skills acquired. As was mentioned, you couldn't just get it with ebay gold, you would have to earn all of the skill points too before you could buy all the skills to max a title.

Maybe also have something like "Jack of All Trades" if you have every skill acquired for every possible profession? To remedy the "but it's just another title track we can never max out" just have different levels

Jack of All Trades (1) - All core professions mastered
Jack of All Trades (2) - All Factions and core professions mastered
Jack of All Trades (3) - All Nightfall, Factions, and core professions mastered

and so on. Maxed can be "master" of all available professions. Max out two more professions when they release new chapters, have max title again.

It would be nice to have more titles that reflect how many skills you have gotten in total, so this is a cool idea. /signed for more skill titles
