Has anyone else noticed that if you are fighting monsters next to any sort of NPC that heals that isnt in your party (Ambassator Braun etc), they HEAL the enemy your trying to kill?

I spent around 7 minutes trying to kill a Grasping Ghoul, not knowing why they kept healing themselves. Then I noticed Braun heal other/infusing them.

This really pissed me off. Does anyone know of a way to contact Anet about this?

hmm oddd, normally unless they are using heal area, they usually try to heal you. Never saw that before, we need an emote "who's side are you on?!"

I'm not sure, but It think I've seen the Dwarven Prospectors healing Priests of Sorrows in Grenth's Footprint. Also, the res shrine monks (Luxon/Kurzick), will heal monsters, sometimes even when you are their "friends".

I've only seen this happen in Grenth's/Sorrow's Furnace. One of the priest Dwarves you take with you for a mission in the area will heal the Stone Summit even though he's YOUR NPC...

My friend complained about Zain, too actually. He said he was trying to kill a devourer, but Zain kept healing it. People used to complain that the NPC's don't help you attack anymore (collectors and such)... Well, AI is always too much of A, and not enough of I, if you ask me.

Yeah, I was out henching and my henchies got wiped (stumbled upon a quest I didn't know I had...

) so I tried to entice the nearby Luxon priest to heal me, which he obliged to... then ofcourse, whenever the Kurzick enemy came to near he healed them aswell! Rather annoying, took me a while to figure out why that dude was so hard to put down...

Yes! This happened to me a few days ago when I was henching Raisu Palace. I selected Danika and after her cutscene, she started healing the enemy mobs right by her.

Well, it wouldn't have been a big deal, but they obstructed my henchies! After a few tense moments, they finally broke free and we continued to finish the mission.

They are mercenaries, they heal whoever is taking the most damage

Yes, that's happening to me a lot. Especially in Factions, where there are those little groups of NPCs next Kurzick and Luxon outposts portals.

i used to send bug reports for the sorrows furnace priest healing the enemy every time it pissed me off and made things alot harder.

well never seemed to get fixed and theres more npcs that do it now so...... well i cant say with any confidence that it will be fixed any time soon. just work around it sourge healing? KILL THE NPCS muahaha

Hes still a friendly NPC... he SHOULD NOT heal enemies.
