But a friend told me that he was in ToA and some people were saying that Prot Spirit is going to get changed to target OTHER ally. aka no 55s

Anybody else hear something about this? I honestly don't know if I'd bother to keep playing if they did that.

Even if this is true, you could still Duo UW. But then again, it's just a rumor that's been going around for months on end, and is about as true as "if you /rank a corpse you get permabanned."

Anyway, wether it is true or not, there are many other solo-farm builds around, involving ritualist, rangers, warriors, monks without PS and heck... even a mesmer-solo isnt rare anymore. I wouldnt be surprised if someone cooked up some sin farm build, if that didnt already happen.
Anyway, id Anet would go on with the nerf, that would seriously affect the ingame market, e.g. Ectos. Ecto price would start to fluctuate and since you know high-end stuff are paid by them and all, it would all become very unpredictable. Anet wouldnt want to screw with their precious ingame market, would they?

I think this is still a rumor changes that is coming up. But think about it from this perspective. A-Net has already stop EoE, and AoE spells. What could stop them from taking Prot Sprit and making it to protect ally only and not yourself?

55 or 105 hp builds can be pwned with life stealing and spirit bond with enchanment removal or burst damages which are below 60 after armor check. Anet just doesn't want to change for example UW or FoW. They would had done it ages ago if they wanted.

I mean, I want to get a FoW Armor ( only big pieces, so 75 Ectos/75 Shards, atm I just got 41/47) and its a bit annoying to see that any 2nd ppl got a FoW Armor, its nothing special anymore, anyone can get it....^^ sry for spam

"Kill the bots and farmers"... Sry to say but nerfing skills aint the way foward if you want to nerf farming ... Go farming section and look how many builds that would need to be beaten by the nerf bat.. 55 Monk nerfed?, well we just use Echo VwK Rit, or Mist form ele, Geo Tank or a Warmo!.. Gl nerfing down farming by taking the skills..

Anyway, nerfing Prot spirit is not only gonna hurt the 55 Monks.. But alot of PvP Boon Prots and the like is gonna Cry blood...

Yeap it is not all boon protects that carry PS on them one may have it and one may have something else.Don't ever listen to rumours that is all they are.

why i like 55ing? its a cool change from healing and protecting
why i like PS on ME while i boon/prot? i dont die of 3 lightning hits when i encounter airspikers who do Chain lightning, so i can stay around and keep healing my teemmates.
