Throwing Weapons for Warriors
Painbringer
Maybe this has been mentioned but I think the Warrior class needs a throwing weapon like Throwing knives (For swords) Throwing axe, Throwing hammer. Make them with low damage and low range but have them linked to axe, sword, and hammer mastery. have them appear in your hands just like arrows do for rangers. I see the need for a bow for pulling enemies, but there are areas were you need to attack something flying example: Unwaking Waters Mission. You are lucky to do a point or two of damage with a bow.
Just a thought.
PS: Throwing Daggers for Assasins or Shrowing stars

I dont know about that...Warriors are Melee. Warriors have zero ranged attacks.
I dont really see the point. Flying targets in this game are not flying, they are still fixed to ground since the game has no Z-Axis.

Valid idea for a new class maybe, but as for Warriors that already have 3 weapon choices... Nah...
Possibly see it fitting in with Sins, But still :S

Warriors are meant as Melee attackers, Assassins would also fall under this category but they have less armor. Warriors are not meant to sit back and throw or shoot weapons at enemies. They are meant to run in their hack'n'slash and take damage.

I call it a Paragorn...just wait for nightfall and you've got someone throwing stuff.

Yeah, I agree that warriors just aren't powerful enough as it is despite all that "highest damage output" and "highest armor" stuff.

You shouldnt worry about damage when your pulling...
My warrior has a longbow with something like 10-17 dmg, and im a w/me i dont use it for damage...

maybe not a good idea, but if Anet could actually get to work on creating this lovely thing called a "vertical"... heck, maybe Rangers and Elementalists could have more of a strategic use.

Paragons don't have any more advantage to using spears that any other class would that wanted to use them, right? So just make a warrior/paragon.
If I'm wrong someone please correct me.

Agreed, Paragon is basically a ranged warrior, for all intents and purposes. P/W or W/P would do this just fine.
BTW: A Paragon primary would have one major advantage (well, major depending on PoV), a potential for +4 to their Spear Mastery Attribute.

Warriors are ment to be upfront and taking the damage for the group (tanking) , a throwing weapon for a warrior would take away the warriors purpose. /notsigned

use W/R with marksman if you want ranged.
