How many of you played aspenwood this weekend for the double faction points? Alot, considering that I was in District 5 on the Luxon side most of the weekend. I was trying to make a Mes build for Aspenwood that would take out the gate bonders, with a minimun of skills so that I could concentrate on my favorite past time of killing warriors. I usually run a build that is all Illusion except for Backfire. This is what I was running:

Ill 9+4
Dom 11
Inspir 8+1
Fast Cast 8+1

Inepitude
Distortion
Conjure Phantasm
Spirit of Failure(?-the one that gives energy if warrior misses)
Reveled Enchantment
Backfire
Ether Fest
Diversion

Now to take out the bonder all you really need to do is backfire, diversion on the monk and rev enchant on NPC being bonded. This usually gave enough time to break through the gate. Now my question: Is there a one hit wonder to take out bonders? I really would like just take one skill to do, so that I can use the spot for another degen or interupt and take down my dom to 8 or so just for backfire.

Thx

If you can probably stop a monk from maintaining his/her you have a chance of breaking through.

I'll list a few skills, may or may not work.

Shatterstorm - removes all enchantments, if the bonder has no energy left they won't be able to cast much enchantments. this is a one-trick-pony so you should only use it when you know your team will break through.

Ignorance - foe cannot use signets for a given amount of time. Prevention of Healing Signet(because you like to kill warriors) and Blessed Signet. not exactly a one-hit-wonder.

Complicate - works almost the same way as ignorance does, except with lower cost, immediate interruption, and lower recharge. not exactly a one-hit-wonder either.

I can't really think of any other counters from the illusion line. good luck.
