hey could any of you fellas be helpful enough to give some PVP tips for me?

Here is my char in a nut-shell.

W/Mo
Kurzick 15k Sentinal Armor
(Buying FoW Armor tonight so I have choice of what options I want on it.)

Stats:
Strength 14
Swordmanship 14
Tactics 7
(rest are all 0's)

Weapon / Shield:
I have a Sundering (20/20) Long Sword of Fortitude (+30), req 9, 15^50
and an Exalted Aegis (-9/20%, +30hp), req 8 str

Current Build:
Pure Strike (for dmg)
Final Thrust (for dmg)
Galrath Slash (for dmg)
Power Strike (for dmg)
Endure Pain (for hp boost)
Beserker Stance (for adrenaline)
Sprint (to escape)
Healing Sig. (to heal myself)

I think my sword and shield and armor are fine. But I'm not to sure on which would be a good PVP build for my char. Any suggestions or put down what your PVP build is, would be greatful.

Thanks!

seems pretty good but i suggest putting some sort of crippling and bleeding skills in there to take out the opposing teams monks but other than that, you seem to have it down

sever/gash/final thurst is my favorite sword build, if you don't need an elite in the sword line, you can take shove for extra control, together with shock you'll have 2 KD's interrupts. Sprint is fine, not the escape though, normally you use it to chase.

I'd throw away berserkers stance, its not worth it really, 30 seconds cooldown is way too long, I'd prefer tigers stance over that.

Remember that you should >always< bring a res signet in RA/TA, not needed for AB's though

Do not get setninels armor for pvp. especially if its fow. I would personally suggest gladiators withe stoneskin gauntlets, as it is a very versatile set for any build. If you get into higher end pvp, you will almost never have ur strength at 13. Sundering sucks (vampiric is more damage, adds health too) just bring a switch weapon. As already stated, berserkers stance has a very long recharge, and the second you use a skill you lose the stance. And always bring a res sig.

Note, Sundering is better then Vamp on Hammers, and sometimes on Bows. Id say its 50/50 on Axes, and Vamp ftw on Swords and Daggers.

You might want to boost Tactics and lose endure pain once you hit that and your health goes down and you hit you healing signet you will die.I stopped useing that for that very reason (and a tip it is one of the reasons that makes ettin farming easy) that goes for defy pain as well. When playing Warrior in PvP you are just Warrior not a Tank.To go after castors you will want frenzy and from your secoundary being /mo use mend ailment or purge condition or signet.
You skill bar should look like this.
1 sever artery2.Gash or Galath Slash3.Final Thrust or Dragon Slash4.Healing Signet5.Sprint6.Frenzy7.mend ailment or purge8.Res Signet
When you want to cancel out Frenzy hit Sprint.

There now that is a good W/Mo PvP build no mending so you don't have shock atleast you can relieve your Monk of mending you conditions.

Testing with 16 Weapon Mastery should give you the same results very quickly though.

And I am speaking about average damage, not the possible spike damage (which sundering usually wins out in anyways).

Remember, Sundering works off of the base weapon damage, so when you deal a crit and get max weapon damage... its quite nice. I do remember Sundering adding 25ish damage on my Hammer on a crit.

That mechanic of critting is the only possible justification of Sundering on Daggers, but to be honest I have not looked at it closely.

EDIT: And why not use Signet of Malice over Mend Ailment?

Thing about your build is, its trying to be a spiky build (ie. Final Thrust) but any useful spike build should utilise Deep Wound.

It reduces HP by 20%, so effectively, your weapon hits account for 20% more of their total HP giving yourself a +20%damage =).

That is why people use sever>gash, its for the deep wound.

You have also committed a cardinal sin of suggesting a PvP build without the mention of a resurrection signet. Tisk Tisk
