Hi all

Quick question re skill points, not long started the game and really enjoying it but am amassing skill points, I have 6 now and cant find anywhere to buy training, however, I am pre-acadamy (searing I think) level 7 warrior/nec, do I have to wait till I go through the acadamy before I can spend these points, I also have unlocks and need to find the priest of balthazar but cant seem to find him, any help welcome ????

Skill points can be spent at Skill Trainers once you cross over to Post Searing.

When you see the "unlocked" message that is for an item (skill, upgrade, etc) that is then available when you create a PvP-only toon. They have access to everything you've unlocked plus max weapons and armor, but can only be used in PvP areas.

SAVE THOSE POINTS

also be sure you visit all the skill trainers for both of your professions to get all the free skills you can before the academy

after the academy you can get the first skill trainer right away but wait a bit and decide what skills you can actually use best so later you are not wishing you saved them for a better skill.

EDIT

THESE GUIDES CAN HELP A LOT

Also since you're in Prophecies there will be skills rewarded from quests a good portion of the game. You can look them up on guildwiki to see if they are quest rewards, purchased or captured.

I find that I can buy every skill I come across without having any money or skill point problems due to missions + bonuses giving them out. Also, don't forget that when you buy a skill, the price increases for the next one until it gets to 1k each.
