So. I have this PVP Starburst build that I was thinking about making PVE. I do not know any changes I should make to it (reason I'm posting.) so if you could, please just correct / add & subtract anything I should replace.

I use a strict E/___ (maybe /Mo for PVE) build for PVP
Fire Magic 15(12+3)
Energy Storage 12
Air Magic 3

Starburst[Elite]
Flame Burst
Shock
Bed of Coals
Inferno
Aura of Resto.
Fire Attunement
Res. sig

I know I should remove res. sig, but what for? For PVE, I was also thinking about getting rid of Shock for a AoE knock down, putting everything on fire for 7 seconds (meteor?). I run mainly a AoE instant (excluding Bed of Coals) build, which is sort-of good for PVP, making them unable to scatter, but would Bed of Coals be too much of a problem (PVE wise) because mid-Flame Burst (or inferno) they'd scatter, and I'd miss my Flame burst?
Anyway, please help.

This character is not going to be soloing anything in PvE. Bluntly, this is a HA-only archtype that is entirely dependent upon Channeling for his effectiveness. Arcane Echo is something that you probably want as well.

This entire build depends on having enemies up close, and unless you're a 55 or something (which you obviously are not), you do not want enemies up close. The elementalist is capable of dealing tremendous damage, but they have to live to do it, and using this build, you would not. There is a reason why the armor level is only 60. You say want to be up close to enemies in PvE, but you don't even have anything defensive (no the AoE is not defensive, enemies run, but they come back), and to top it off, you seem to think that this is a solo build that does not require other players to heal you, since you said you should not have rez signet. Drop this build entirely, maybe just keeping one over time AoE like Lava Font, just as backup if enemies get too close.

My success with PbAoE nuking comes from using both fire and earth magic. That way you get the earth defensive enchantments (armor of earth and kinetic armor). Also, you can pull things like aftershock into the mix. Meteor shower, followed by star burst to get you in range for bed of coals and aftershock should kill literally anything in your path.

Consider using Wirlwind with that Bed of Coals, but dont drop Shock.
I also use Disciplined Stance and Healing Sig with 9 in Tactics. This is very convinient since it allows you to weild shield for more defense.
+5 energy melee weapon is also ftw since it gives you easy way to control distance.

Also do you not have 200 attribute points yet? Why so poor attributes values? Where are the runes and the flaming rock?

I'd say keep the fire attunement, but consider going E/Rt. Generous was Somebodyorother is an amazing self heal, even at only a few att. points into restoration.
