Well, we're here. Today is trade-only, and the guild members have started arriving and coming down to the booth to familiarise themselves with the computers.

While there's not much happening right now, I thought I'd drop in and point you to our NCsoft Europe Flickr account, where we'll be publishing photos from the show on a regular basis. The booth is easily the best in Hall 5

. The designers and builders have done a brilliant job.

I'll drop into this thread whenever I can during the week and blog our experience here, so keep checking back.

Jitte swords actually would work with mesmers if they would have own special skills for this type of swords. Too bad Anet made a pure caster from them. Maybe in future professions...

Stop looking at the Continuum pics, and take a look at the lovely Leipzig ones (the set is quite a bit larger now, with the addition of many shots).

We'll hopefully have video to share with you soon as well, so keep checking in.

Before I wander off to bed (just a short metre or few away from me...) I'll update a few things:

All the guilds have arrived. The Korean guilds had a late flight in, but with tomorrow off they'll have plenty of time to recover. In less than 12 hours time, iB and iQ will join in battle. Don't forget that it'll be on Obs Mode.

Now ArenaNet will believe that there is *also* something wrong in their game engine network system because it happened in local network unless the reason really was in hardware.

Well, apparently there were different match times posted on the European site and American site, so that helped add to the confusion. Now people in IRC are saying that the matches for today are all postponed until tomorrow.

Waiting for a confirmation though.

EDIT: People in IRC are also saying that all of the members have gone to offline mode and the match will begin in a few minutes here. Not sure which one it is though.

Why would hardware difficulties on the local machines be attributed to network difficulties with the Guild Wars network?

Basically the computers they had were locking up randomly and fairly often. Flyy locked up around a minute into game one (I'm told), and I locked up two seconds before the gate opened in game two. It was a problem with the machines (some of those pre-loaded show machines with a billion conflicting drivers on them), not with the servers or anything. They decided to replace all the machines instead of wasting more time trying to debug them. All matches were postponed until tomorrow (9 AM local time is what I've been told). I hope everything works out soon, Arena.net has really put on a good show so far and they haven't really messed anything up, it's just hardware issues ruining everything.

Ok, I take that back. There are *NO* booth babes in the NCSoft booth. Someone will die for that.
