Hi everyone. We had two false starts to the first match due to technical issues, so the match has been postponed while our techies investigate.

We'll make sure we let you all know as soon as we get things sorted and back underway.

One thing about obs mode: they are relentless!!!

Now ArenaNet will believe that there is *also* something wrong in their game engine network system because it happened in local network unless the reason really was in hardware.

It wasn't a local network. They were still connected to the Guild Wars servers.

Loki, means that guild wars servers were bugged too? (I think? )

Well, apparently there were different match times posted on the European site and American site, so that helped add to the confusion. Now people in IRC are saying that the matches for today are all postponed until tomorrow.

Waiting for a confirmation though.

EDIT: People in IRC are also saying that all of the members have gone to offline mode and the match will begin in a few minutes here. Not sure which one it is though.

Why would hardware difficulties on the local machines be attributed to network difficulties with the Guild Wars network?

Is it gonna be on Observer Mode in game?

Yah, according to Izzy, all games for today postponed. Their PCs are being replaced.

Basically the computers they had were locking up randomly and fairly often. Flyy locked up around a minute into game one (I'm told), and I locked up two seconds before the gate opened in game two. It was a problem with the machines (some of those pre-loaded show machines with a billion conflicting drivers on them), not with the servers or anything. They decided to replace all the machines instead of wasting more time trying to debug them. All matches were postponed until tomorrow (9 AM local time is what I've been told). I hope everything works out soon, Arena.net has really put on a good show so far and they haven't really messed anything up, it's just hardware issues ruining everything.

Ok, I take that back. There are *NO* booth babes in the NCSoft booth. Someone will die for that.
