If there is someone who is interested in doing map checks, please pm me and we'll see if we can't do something else. But there are so many map requests that legitimate questions are getting drowned out. In the meantime, if you want to get a map check, you'll have to read up on how to do it yourself, or pay someone who's running a service (check ventari's). But this is a notice that all further map requests will be deleted (in this thread specifically and more so in a separate thread.)

Been working on my cantha map title for a little bit now and am missing this huge area between raisu palace and imperial sanctum. I've done the raisu palace mission several times but can't seem to get the area...looks to be almost 1% up there. Can someone give me some suggestions?

Thanks to the guides and tips in here i manged to get my last.6% without Jade Arena (Shing Jea arena did the most part) with my Tyria born character.

Darkside, that's the exploreable area AFTER the Raisu Palace mission. Go out the portal in Imperial Sanctum.

Urgh, problem... just north of Zen Daijun, I've gotten to the small island suggested, and i've thoroughly mapped it - and yet I can't get the SMALLEST bit to clear. =/

I also had some troubles to find my last 0.1% in cantha. I found it just left outside of the marketplace on the docks. I didn't see my map chance or anything. I assume i mapped a little bit of water away

Hermos, it actually looks to me like YOU have that area unmapped but the texmod does not.
That particular texmod is based on someone's 100% map, which I found (at least for Tyria) is full of little areas not yet explored.
For 99.9%, I recommend using my method of mapping.

Just to give some encouragement to anyone frustrated by the areas that require special circumstances to get into, I can confirm (having done it myself) that it IS possible to get 100% on Cantha without doing ANY of the following:

I'm on my way to grandmaster cartographer (99.2% right now), but I think I'll need to get banished by Shiro to get 100% (i'm a monk). So if anyone has time and is ready to help fellow cartographer on getting this title, my ign is Missy Healer. I'll be forever gratefull

Just some words of encouragement for those going for title, keep at it Got 100% cantha and with it Legendary Cart recently so just a few words of advice I found helpfull.
Tyria took me ages because I had to redo every single map I'd ever been through, and some area's several times because I wasn't thurough enough.
With Elona and Cantha my method has been choose an area you want to map out completely (say kaineng city, starter island) and go and map that area out entirely, every single map in it around the edges till you reach the portal you started from. This way it cuts down the huge task of GMC into smaller chunks, and keeps it more manageble and less frustrating for you (I went from 80 to 100% elona in 1 day, 90% cantha to 100% in 1 day) You know you've had the area's so don't have to redo them, by the time your done you should have 100%.
Elona I did this way in 1 go, didn't have to redo anything, Cantha I got lucky at 99.2% to get into a JQ mapping group which got me to 99.8, and last I did with the 0.5% glitch at that one town, never got banished by Shiro.
So just be thurough, take the time for it and turn away from the wall to enjoy the view every so often

I just finished my legendary cart title by finishing up Cantha, some tips for Tyrian-born Characters:
- Uncover every single piece of land you can find, if you use carto made easy, there are some foggy spots left over if you use the virtualdub comparision posted by Asrial here.
- Generally hugging Canthan areas can take years because there are multiple levels, I would do one entire region using carto made easy, then switch up and compare using the VirtualDub method mentioned above and unfog the missed areas if there were any.
- Some of the corners of the Xaquang Skyway are not accessible anymore so don't hug the same wall for 3 hours trying to unfog it, just move on. Generally NE and SW corners.
Places I did not completely unfog:
- Monastery Overlook (not accessible)
- Some corners of Xaquang Skyway (not accessible anymore due to change to undercity)
- NE of Dragon's Throat (same deal as Skyway)
- Jade Quarry
- Shiro Banishment Area
After completely unfogging all areas including Fort Aspenwood with the exception of the ones listed above I was at 99.9% and finished it off with Eredon Terrace.
Good luck.
