Id like to start a thread for people to list their devious schemes for nightfall.
Are you saving money? Dye? Are you saving any weapons? Howabout faction points? What- dealing with your treasure/account/ideas- makes your personal wait for Nightfall different than just "ooo gonna make a d/mo"?
This thread is for people who definately will be getting nightfall, and to post what their ideas are for preparations before they get the game.
Personally, Im holding on to a Zodiac Shield for my eventual paragon... and Im currently farming dyes in presearing for lack of a better use for my PvP slot at the moment... and lastly, as i have said before in many threads... im holding on to any rare shield i come across to sell to the newb paragons (not rip-off mind you)
Preparing for Nightfall? How so?

I'm not doing anything in particular to prepare for Nightfall. I would normally start hording basic crafting materials, but with the expanded materials storage, I already have 250 of all the basics - I even have about 120 Steel Ingots.
So, about the only thing I'm doing is trying to hold off starting a Necro until I can see what look and armour will be available to start on in Nightfall. I say "trying to" because I'm running out of things to do in Factions.

Besides the 255 stacks of material vault, actually keeping new stuff to create a 2nd 255 stack (vs offloading to NPC Trader).
Getting all the map points done for my characters (at least 2 of the 3).
Trying to get the hard missions done with my characters before the vacum sucks alot of the players out of factions -> Nightfall.
Finish skill capping with my ele (7 left), sin (1 left). Monk not so worried about since she needs the most work map, skill, wise. Also keeping an eye on my unspent skill points
and any nice xp quests I've overlooked (a bunch).
Keeping amber/jade instead of turning to profit on the expectation it will go up in price... it really can't get much lower.. and if it does oh well.

LOL, I'm just trying to get at least one character through Factions.
Then, I still have the dream of going back and finishing all the Prophecy quests with my second character.
Crap, so much do to do, maybe I shouldn't even get Nightfall until I finish...
nah, what's the fun in that?
PS Oh, yeah, and I'm actually thinking of names for my Nightfall characters already, too.

I'm hoarding skill points. A lot of people think it's pointless, but I like to buy every skill for every profession in every campaign. Given the fact that there are 300 new skills, I've been working off the same distribution of skills Factions introduced (30 skill per profession=60 skills per character). Also working under the assumption that there wont be any skills for rit/sin. I just need 50 more points on my warrior which in theory takes no time, but in practice I'm a bit burnt out from already farming so much on my other characters. Also hoarding skill points gets me about 10k a day. I'll only need money for skills and 15k armor for my Dervish. I can already tell I wont like any of the new armor for other classes just by the motif of the game.

. And not only that I've got like a zillion sup absorb runes, because the price will go higher upon nightfalls release.
