can i download the entire game?

at the moment iv got both prophecies and factions accounts, but no cds, tgis is fine, except it takes so long to download a new area, so i was wondering if I could download the entire game somewhere so i can leave it over night, rather than having to interupt my playing

i want to say NO. because in my experance you actual have to go to each area to down load the area. I know when i copy the GW folder from my Desktop to Laptop it just needs to decompress then files again and not download them.

you could check the PlayNC website maybe.

no you can download the entire game.. the game automatically downloads compressed files when you leave it at the login screen... so just leave your computer on for about 2 days you should have most of it... (you can play the game while you do this) ...

just download the client from here

install it and let it download the initial stuff and leave it at the login screen or play if you want.

make sure you add the -image to your gw shortcut because this will decompress everything uncompressed (newly downloaded files) so you don't have to wait for decompression on the area loading.

Yes you sure can. Go to http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=94814 for details. Look for the -image switch. Also remember to remove the -image from your shortcut when done loading everything as the game won't start with the - image on the gw.exe
