This will probably never happen, but maybe someday when GW is no longer popular, it would be awesome if they could release a software development kit so people could run their own GW servers from their homes and create their own maps/skills/ruleset.
The gaming engine for GW looks fairly robust, so it would be pretty neat to be able to utilize this to create your own world/map/etc... However, due to proprietary issues and the likes, I'm sure it will never come to fruition.
