With Nightfall Released Oct 27 I'm thinking that it would be a pretty safe guess that if they have a Halloween event again this year that it will be held in Tyria. I would think that so soon after the release of Nightfall they'd still be focused on getting out the final bugs and all this and that... but we'll see.. either way I just thought that was interesting

I was thinking just the opposite. The Factions Tengu event shows that they like to start a new release with an event, and Oct 27 coincides with Halloween perfectly.

When Nightfall releases, they don't want people mucking around in Tyria and not buying Nightfall. I'm expecting Halloween to be either completely or mostly in Elona. I'll bet the mad king will visit the Elona newbie city instead of LA.

I hope they add something that is global to all chars like the original C.E. glowy hands thing, otherwise I'll probably not be ordering the C.E. this time round.

I think this one's going to be a testing one for Anet, if they screw this one up too (i.e. there is general disquiet a la Factions) probably people will stop buying future chapters. Yes yes, I know some liked Factions but a significant number didn't.

Agreed. Although, the Skill Pins, making of DVD, and mini-standee are very tempting, I'd like to see an in-game special feature so I can show off on-line I bought the CE. I didn't buy the CE of Factions, though, so I feel i can splurge this time 'round.

As long as GW stays free, I'll continue to play it. There's stuff I haven't even done in Prophecy, much less Factions, and now Nightfall. I could probably afford to skip a Chapter, but I just can't resist!

It's $20 extra; USD anyway; maybe you mean crazy Canada funny money or something. Why it's worth it is all the cool stuff it comes with. Also, the CE is limited pressing so if you change your mind later and want the stuff then; it'll probably be too late. The last two campaigns also had cool ingame stuff you could show off and confuse noobs.

I like the professions much better this time round than last time, so I may go for the CE. I'm pretty stingy when it comes to special/collector editions of anything. It has to be something good for me to purchase it.

newbie-esque question: i have never gotten a pre-order before. will the pre-order out sept 15 be completely playable on sept 15 or do we have to wait for oct 27? do we have to get any other stuff from the store later on or is everything included on sept 15? sorry if this is confusing.
