Typing in Japanese. How to revert to English.

Recently, while I was playing through the mission and bonus for thunderhead keep. However, in the middle of the mission, I started typing in Japanese. One thing I also noticed was that there was a letter "A" in white circle next to the bar where I type.

I have no clue what I did to cause this. I couldn't communicate with my party members and I was party leader organizing everything>.< Good thing this happened around the middle-end when everybody was settled with the plan.

Could somebody tell me the reason for causing this so I may avoid it? Also, how do I fix it?

Thanks for your help.

No, it was a graphics "A" In white circle.

Ill give you an example:
Note: [A] depicts the A in white circle graphic. Parethesis symbolize the bar where you type.

([A]ステキ. )

Check your language settings on options menu to see if you accidentally hit a hot key or something. Also check your control panel in windows just to make sure nothing has changed it. If all looks good ask this question in the technical forum

I think you have accidentally change your input language to Japanese.

But that is really strange, most people that are english base would not install Japanese input, They may have Japanese code installed, but they woudn't have Japanese input 'install'.

Try Start -> Control Panel-> Regional and Language Options -> Languages(tab)

Then click on detail under the text service and input blah blah blah.

Remove any input type you dont want and set the defult to your preference.

Not mine, mine is a Win XP 64, and no Japanese input installed other than the drawing pad.

I get that all the time.

Press Control and Shift at the same time until you get back to normal. It takes me three presses.

More or less, depends on how many different languages there is installed.

For me it would go Finnish->English->Japanese->Finnish, 2 presses to after an accidental toggle.

Anyways, easiest way to know what locale you have on is to keep the language bar open, then you can simply click on it, and select what keyboard layout/IME you want to use. (Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Languages-tab -> Details-button -> Language Bar-button -> "Show the language bar in the desktop"-tick)
