Hello everybody i have the following issue.
I have a Factions character that can go to Lions Arch.
But i friend of mine is going to start playing Guild Wars Prophecies.
So my question is:
How much will i be able to help him with
*Quests
*Primary Quests
*Missions
The point of view is that i am going to let myself be runned to Ascalon City.
And i have a lot of skills missing so will i get skills from doing (Skill) Quests before Lions Arch.

You will be able to help him with everything. Unlike Factions, there are no closed off exclusive areas in Prophecies (well, except for the low level PvP areas and pre-searing). You will not benefit from a lot of thing. I.e. you will not get XP and skill points for finishing missions and can't take all the quests before Lion's Arch yourself. You will still be able to accompany your freind and help him, you just won't get any quest rewards there.

You will be able to do all the quest with you friend, but he/she will have to lead as you will not get any of the quest prior to Lion's Arch. You will be able to do all the missions with bonuses with him/her but will only be awarded the completion of them no XP.
eightyfour-onesevenfive: Where is/are these supposed exclusive areas you talk of in Factions? Only thing my Tyrian hasn't/cannot do is the Local Quarter, and the training area on the island, other than that she has mapped the whole island, killed off Shiro, and is currently 70.9% complete of the Canthan map.

I would imagine "closed off exclusive areas" means something about the outposts/towns owned by alliances or something about how you can't access outposts/towns in Factions if you haven't advanced the plot far enough (like how some places are gated off - try and get into Cavalon or House zu Heltzer before doing the mission before it for example).

Closed off areas in factions means you can't get run , because you need to to do quests. In prophecies tehre are no gates.
Also, Ondo is right. You can only do quests after lion's arch. However, you can travel with him outside, helping on the quest, but not getting a reward.
However, you WILL get xp from missions and quests after Lion's Arch, so 84175's info isn't correct there.

Hi thanxs for the replys but when i try to enter the mission The Great Wall with my Factions charr the timer just stops. So can or can't i play the missions before Lions Arch.

sounds like a bug. factions guys can do every mission in tyria

You can play the missions, but you should get a box saying that your character is from a different campaign and will not get any exp from completing the mission.
