What drops the Gloom Shield in UW?

If anyone know's could you please tell me. I've done the usual Duo run down there about 30 times now and we kill the smites, aataxes, and coldfires and not a single shield. The chest's have yet to drop one for us also . So if anyone knows what drops it please let me know Thanks.

btw i think it could be something far away like dead collectors...

I have had the same problem.
My guess is that it drops later on in UW or it's just that rare.

Sounds like something that would drop from FOW not UW...Seeing as those
driftwood guys drop gloomseeds all day, near the beach. Guess I'll check the collectors I find if any on or around the beach.

I got one from those from the Dead Collecters. It dropped from the one you see on the east side of the screen while going into the smites room (In the room where theres occassionaly a dying nightmare). It was armor 15 req 12, so I just merched it.

where is the smites room? where all the snow is outside? sry only been where 55's go to farm =(.

Yes the smite room is where the "White" is.

Note that you CANNOT kill Dead Collecters with a standard 55/ss build since they use Shadow Strike. I 8 manned it.
