As far as i know, and from searching thru the forums, non max sickle(the old skin one not the new skin in factions) or tribal axe has ever been found. So, i thoght it might be fun and interesting for everyone to post there best sickle and/or tribal axe they have ever found.

Here is my best ever found(nothing great), which is in my collection of axe now:

Tribal Axe
7-21 req 7

(white)
Sickle Axe (not the one in factions of corse)
6-22 req 9

well, post away all you axe skin collectors

Best tribal I have heard of from a reliable person was either 6-26 or 6-27.

6-28 sickle, yes from tyria. Was during one of the missions right after lions arch and I sold it a long time ago.

Because max Tyrian Sickles haven't even been found yet and confirmed, so having one would mean you had the ONLY confirmed one ever...

EDIT: I rephrase that, I did hear a rumor that a few Max sickles came outta the Lost Strongboxes, though I dont know if it was ever confirmed.

Max dmg weapons cant drop in the lions arch area. Max tribals and sickles cant exist as they drop in areas where max dmg weapons arnt possible.

I found a Gold Max Dmg 15>50 Req 7 one in the desert but I merched it. Prove im wrong.

Screenshots please when making extraordinary claims.

Purple Sickle, 6-17 (req. 8 Axe Mastery), Damage +14% (while Health is below 50%).

Never really found a good Tribal Axe though.

Well as I said it was a long ass time ago, in the first month this game came out. I got a guild sigil when they were worth 100k at the time for it. When 100k was worth something.....

I did have a 6-27 max sickle, but my friend (Who shares my Secondary account) merched it. I swear to god.

I will get him to post in this topic as soon as hes done. Honestly I dont care if you believe me, after all what do I get from lieng? A bigger e-ego? :P

Anyways, if somone were to find a max sickle, with lets say a good inherent damage mod, wouldnt that sell for atleast 10 million+?

As for tribal axes, i personally have never seen one with even close to perfect damage.

The rotscale does, in theory, have a chance of dropping a perfect sickle but the chance of that is <.000000000000001% (Even less then a perfect req 7 15^50 crystalline.) And, since the area where these items are dropped usually dont have max dmg, as mentionend by the herbalizer, the possibility of us ever finding a max 15^50 one is slim to none. However, the chances of a perfect sickle are greater then a perfect tribal axe.

Additionally, if lets say a perfect tribal axe drops, and several guru moderators confirm it. How much would it be sold for? Who would bid? Akhelius? Herbalizer? Ractoch? Basically only a few people in this game would be able to put down that large of a sum of money, and most of them would be unwilling. The perfect crystalline the other day sold for approximatley 7.5 million (I was one of the bidders) So how much would a max sickle go for? 20 million? Now lets say only 15 people in the game have that kind of money, some bieng akhelius and you herbalizer. But, would you blow it all on this weapon?

What im saying is that, who would bid? I know i wouldnt, even though i only could in the 15 million range.

Well, lets hope one of these drops, and I will bid on it if I can afford it.

And since the HoH chest or FoW/UW quest chests dont drop em, we will most likely never see a perfect one. But, who knows, maybe some poor bloke 8 man rotscale farming will get it...and be set for life.

Yes, they do drop in LDD. And there is a high chance it will be max damage from the level 24 charr armeggedon(Sp?) lord. And, the chance of a gold dropping from them is quite high as well (Compared to the drop rate from other things, such as rotscale) Infact, in a prior topic, it was stated these level 24 charr have a .000001% chance of dropping a max gold 15^50 sickle.

Sorry, but that percent chance is probably just a made up number. Savio and I farmed that quest a lot on purpose to try to get a sickle, and we never saw one. Does that mean they can't drop? No, but it means they probably don't drop very often if they do, but we COULD have just been really unlucky. So, unless you have lots of time to waste, farming the charr for sickles isn't going to be worth your time.

i sold a 6-24 tribal axe a while ago, back during winter. Also, if you look hard enough, there was a thread started by a regular poster, who had a ss of a 6-28 white sickle. This was back when Tombs became an explorable area, check for the thread if ya dont believe me :P

yup, i was about to post that too. wow, long time ago. can't remember if it was proven true or false though.

as for myself, the best sickles i found were two 6-24 ones, a req 8 and a req9. tribal axes, nothing over 6-20 though.

Didn't nef trade his 6-28 Tribal Axe for a 6-27 Sickle once? If that's true, he probably owned the two with the highest damage in the game (unless that 6-28 one was real, but I doubted it when it was posted, and I still doubt it).

Ah, ok. I just remembered that it was posting in a thread a very long time ago. But nonetheless, charr do drop sickles, just a very small chance of it happening. But, if you wanted a max sickle to drop, farming LDD would be the way to do it.

Out of curiosity, how did you "farm" that quest? Four man right?

the story goes, as i recall, that nef traded his 6-27 sickle and whatever amount of gold or equivalent for the 6-28 tribal. but to my knowledge, there was never a screenshot provided/seen, nor any ingame verification. *shrug*

and come on, when someone claims to own a max tribal or sickle, no matter how well-known or reputable that person is, there will always be questions about its authenticity. i think alot of us have seen too many BS threads about max sickles/tribals. even so, i would say it's really not so much to do with trusting or not trusting that person as it is raw, uncontained excitement from the whole community, hoping against hope that this time it is true. and if the item is in fact real, there will be no problems showing it ingame to a few people.

Nef lied alot. He said he had alot of stuff but wouldnt show it either in-game or through a screenshot. He never showed the 6-28 Tribal Axe. He also claimed to have a 15% No Neg Long Sword but never posted a pic... Any amount of trust I had in him was lost when he sold the Scavengers of Ascalon quest reward axe claiming it was a HOD one.

Your absolutely right. I would not believe anything nef claimed to have since he never showed it in a screenshot or was willing to show it ingame. I do believe max sickles drop, however they are very rare. The closest was the one I had, 6-27dmg. And the sad part is, if a max sickle did drop it would need to go to somone who knows how much it is worth, instead of a new person who merches it.

They do drop from LDD, my friend did get a 7-22 sickle from a charr amreggen lord. However, the chance of it bieng max is slim, and the chance of it bieng max and gold are close to 0.

As for tribal axes, I dont believe any max damage excist. Nef claimed to have a max one, but this was never proven. If a max one were to drop, it would be in kyrta, most likely the riverside province and sanctum cay missions as white mantle drop them.

As of now, no max damage tribal axe or sickle is in excistence, and it probally never will be.
