Sephis Axes - Non Max = 55 the quest " Undead Hordes" from beetletun around the 3rd wave items will start dropping, gold dead bows and gold sephis axes are very common here, but they will never drop max, i have only seen one max sephis axe from this location and it was purple.
Sephis Axes- Max = Chest Run Hells Precipice, Any chest near the portal wraiths have a low chance of dropping gold sephis/deadbows/swamphammers, and other undead items, On the build I use I kill some of the portal wraiths.
Serpent Axes - Non Max = Shing Jea Island, I am not as knowledgeble on this area, but I have gotten a Purple non max Serpent axe which i sold to the merchent. I have seen many non max serpents for sale, and i believe this is where they are coming from, My guesses are that it would be near impossible to get a max damage one from that mission.

And people, PLEASE DONT SAY " go farm teh hoh chest lawl" mainly because that does not help anybody, it just says the obvious and for some players they cant just roll 8 and go win halls.

Brutes: I have seen non-max purples drop in the Jungle area. Bohemenths are supposed to drop these according to guildwiki.
Dwarven: I believe these are completely random. Name of it makes me think of dwarves, try them out!

I thought Dwarven Axes pretty much only dropped from the HoH reward chest? (Well, I suppose the quest reward chests in uw, fow, and sf as well.)

Odds are probably the best in HOH, but it also sounds like its pretty random and in high level areas.

As far as I know, Dwarven Axes (and crystallines) only drop from keyless chests (gold from HoH, purple from FoW/UW/SF).

hmm Jade brother hood guy's drop Bruteswords but nott sure if they come in Max dmg since every gold weapon i ever gotten there aint max ore it's of by 1

I've got a perfect Sephis Axe from Rotscale so that would also be an option to search things at.
