The thing that's worrying me most is how will choose what class I want to be? I really want a dervish but with 9 class's to choose from for a secondary its going to get real confusing. I feel sorry for any people who join into nightfall its going to be very confusing and if they dont buy the other games they wont have space to try different class's out and 4 spaces can only go so far...

In fact before Factions, people were complaining that Prophecies wasn't like WoW and didn't have enough PvP.
Then when Factions came out people complained it wasn't like Prophecies and had too much PvP.
For me I will buy Nightfall and love it, just like I did with Prohecies and Factions.

there is also hope for the chapter 4 team as well as Anet has been and will continue to gather data on players preferences.
this means how they actually play not how they forum bitch about something.
you can bet that chapter 4 is prepared to jump either way (more PVE/PVP) depending on how people play Nightfall.
if Nightfall is a bigger success than Factions as determined by their play logs they have the lead time to add a bunch of the chapter 3 stuff that people have shown they like by the play logs to chapter 4.
as i said a year ago the first few chapters will be finding out what the sweet spot balance is between PVE/PVP and then it will settle down

it does not matter when you do an amazing game like gw1 you need to match it or make it better and to everyone who says a sequel is never better then the original it is a bull s*** lie. Terminator 2 was better then 1 diablo 2 was better then diablo 1 finial fantasy 7 was better then 1-6 and 8-?. sorry for spelling it is to early.

Well there's no way of knowing but some things: it's being made by the team who made the original Prophecies (good thing) and also they've said several times over now it's more for the PvE crowd, while Factions was more PvP focussed (so that's good for the PvE folks)
One thing though I'm pretty sure of, it will be smaller than Prophecies due to not having years of work on it, but hopefully still bigger than Factions.
Either way, I get the feeling a fair number of people will decide to buy/not buy future chapters based on how good this one turns out to be.

As long as its pve isn't set up like factions and its pvp to be more versatile w/ the 2 new classes not adding whole new dimensions of balance problems, then it'll be fine. I know the consequent chapters will never be as big as prophecies but it should be set up like it was in prophecies, made the game alot more playable for repeaters.

There is a difference between blind complaints and actual issues and suggestions.
Will Nightfall dissapoint only if you set unrealistic expectations... NOBODY will get everything they want thats just how things go..
But for me I'm excited.. The hero vs hero thing sounds fun as hell... The rumored customizable henchies sounds awesome as well... The saved skillsets for your characters I have been wanting since early on in Prophecies. ( GO ANET!!) The new characters look like fun as well.
I too pray for a improved way to sell and trade things... I HATE spamming to sell my finds to the public it just simply takes to much time away from killing stuff. Yet even if I don't get an auction house or something of the sort who cares? What we have works if the community uses it in an intelligent way, and I can turn it off when it gets too annoying.( trade chat is not idiot proof thats its main problem)
I'm a fanboy I wont even try to deny it. This game and how it evolves from balance change to balance change (I hate the term nerf) keeps the game intresting and fresh even for someone like me with just over 5200 hrs of playtime across two accounts. So another chapter, more bad guys to kill, more places to explore, new skills, new characters, new wepon skins....... How could I possibly be dissapointed?
