Back on topic.

The problem is people come to each chapter with pre-conceived notions wiht how it's supposed to be.
Chap1: Experience with other MMOs
Chap2: Chapter 1 experience
Chap3: Culminating all the above

First off, the thread title really seems to indicate you are already predisposed to a certain viewpoint about the quality of an unreleased product. The only way to be certain will be to try it yourself. Unless you know how a reviewers personal biases fit in with your likes and dislikes, they only really mean so much.

As far as griping on forums, well, it sometimes seems like it's a very vocal minority whining loudly about how bad factions is while those of us who enjoy it are actually online playing the game.

The Chapters are best off when merged into one account, so Life is probably correct on the aspects of each.

I feel that Factions was too centered on PvP, factions, etc, and I hope that Nightfall will be like Prophecies - offering a fair amount of content for each.
