My Ideas for some Guildwars updates.

The main one thats kinda annoying is regards to alliances,

what you should do is when you press G then alliance, there should be a drop down box under eeach alliance, with the Roster for that guild, so you Can see who is online instead of keep spamming Are you online .. whos online.. is so and so there Etc.

An Anti Camp System, to Prevent Bots and People idling in Alliance Battles Fort Aspenwood and Jade. set it to a certain period of time they have to move, ... but then i hear people say they might stand still then do 1 step and stand still again. to combat this perhaps that they have to move so far from a spawn, or they have to take some damage and give some damage in a certain amount of time, Other Games such as Quake 3 implicated this in some of the mods and it worked really well. Then We wont hear "dam Leechers" every again,. to actually punish the campers, maybe incorperate something in the database that Gives like 3 strikes your out and suffour a temp Ban., i spose its hard to incorperate the 3 strikes your out. perhaps maybe if they do it they get a quest come where they have to talk to a npc who gives them the warinng, then it should be alot easier to monitor as im pretty sure arena net can have 1 npc for this and record whos spoken to it. it may have to lock out missions until the quest by speaking to it is completed. i dunno how anet could poss monitor but this is just a idea.

A Demo Record System....

i think this is the big one, as most of us have seen lots of recordings of footage from in game, but it sucks that we have to use external programs for this, im sure ArenaNet could build sometihng easy and nice to use, with customize interface so you choose what you want to be shown on the demo such as party members compass etc or nothing, just your char and the world. it would need build in codec and compression, cuz i dont think people would like 500mb uncompresed avi like the joys of fraps causes. see i dont know why arena net can say no about this, because the videos people will make will only advertise the game some more.

Being able to turn auto downlaod off by choice, enough times ive had the little yellow symbol near the top right and started to lag. i think if theres updates people should be able to choose if they want to download them while they are playing. or when they restart Guildwars , if there is a way already i apologise because i havent found it .

be nice to be able to have a few more friends in your list.

Perhaps a Voting system in Guild , like a guild whos having trouble deciding somethign the leader sets up a vote for guild only personell and they vote and its annoymous. with results being showed.

Also finally Perhaps a Better system as to regards to items,

it seems that the same people get all the good drops all the time, i could garantee that. im not just talking about me im pretty sure alot of you have experienced this now, if you do the same thing 50 times with the same people, there will always be 1 person whos more favoured from the drops than others. whats the deal with that.? im not whining cuz i dont get drops im whining cuz its always the same people. im pretty sure most have experienced it also.

yeah but as to the forums could be used, alot of people dont like forums, where as if its in game its instant :P i think my whine about the drops is cuz i usually get crap lolz and i dont mean about turning off the stream, i mean about giving people the option to do so, and then downloading the updates when they restart GW

with this many ideas you would think you might take the time out to read through the stickys, like the index of ideas or the "read first" sticky.

yeah i read most the titles there i read about the jade quarry and aspenwood and didnt notice any anti camp, i couldnt see any rosters about alliances, i couldnt see any anti camp either, so next time please dont be so rude and negative with your post. thank you very much

As far as the forums deal goes, my guild leader set up a guild board. Less than a third of our guild members have signed up for the forums. Some people simply don't want to be bother with signing up to a forum, but would probably vote if it were part of the game itself.

yup it makes sense as a game issue being contained within a game instead of going 3rd party to participate

As Bigwig mentioned, you should have looked at the READ FIRST - Suggestion Forum Guidelines. That's the one that lists our rules. And in there it clearly states that you should not make "a few ideas" threads like this one. Each idea should have its own thread. If you don't want a big discussion on the idea, just post it in the Index of Ideas instead. The title of your threads should have descriptive titles, not something like "my generic idea!!!11."

And as for your ideas themselves, many of them have been suggested before. Apart from checking the Index of Ideas, you are also supposed to do a search to see if your idea has been suggested before.
