Hi,

I was wondering, if you use Glyph of Renewal, then attempt to cast a spell, but while casting the spell you are under the hex Diversion, will the spell be diverted, or will it recharge instantly?

Sorry if this has been posted before, and thank you for your help in advance.

considering that Renewal is an Elite Skill i would assume NOTHING gets in the way of the Instant recharge. Just my hunch, can't say for sure though.

Diversion - For 6 seconds, the next time target foe uses a skill, that skill takes an additional 10...47 seconds to recharge.

Glyph of Renewal - For 15 seconds, your next Spell instantly recharges.

You cast a spell while under effects of Renewal and Diversion, Diversion adds it's 10-47 seconds to the spells recharge, and Renewal makes the spell recharge instantly, effectively ignoring the Diversion.

Actually Kaguya, No recharge + additional recharge = additional recharge.

So why don't we test it out in a gee vee gee?

I just did. The skill recharges instantly.

More like: X recharge(whatever spell you are using Glyph to recharge) + 10...47(Diversion) = 0 (Glyph of Renewal), so, based on Savio's test, Glyph of Renewal takes place last, after other effects. That's my guess, at any rate.

my analogy:

spell take x sec to recharge,
diversion take it to +30sec (for eg)
and GoR multiply the recharge time by 0... which gives zero recharge....

Its simple...Kaguya spelled it out, and Savio tested and confirmed.

Divertion Adds recharge to it, then Renewel erases the recharge >_>

Haven't Settled yet :(

ok ok, diversion sucks ass if it is up against a powerful elite skill like renewal, so overall, recharge straight away

I wouldn't use renewal with diversions around, you could get renewal divertified!

Indeed... all these little quirks in the games mathematical engine. Its amazing how everything comes together to make this a truly amazing game.

Apparantly, if x is the normal spell recharge, then the equasion is:
0 * ( x + 1 ) = 0
