If this has been talked about I apologize.
Just wondering if the new heros are Anet's solution to the spreading thin of GW players over 3 campaigns. Historically most of the missions have required 8 players. What if Nightfall missions only took 4 players and 4 heros? That's almost like having 8 players and you don't have to use henchmen.
Heros = Solution to lack of ppl in missions

yeah someone in another thread commented on this too
jealousy will be abound "guys you wanna take my Hero?" "no way dude, your hero is noob, take mine"
but it only makes sense that it would be the group's leader to controll the henchway... no one can be sure at this point.
yes, everyone prepare for Hero-Hate. People will bash your Heros, just wait.

heroes that level up with you and equip items of your choosing. you are going to have to invest in armor/weapons/shields/foci/etc for each of your super henchies who will be the first to outfit his hero in 15k/FOW? |

the ones that hate this the most will not use henchies so why should they need super henchies?
these are optional for the people who find that the average iq of a group is 100 divided by the number of people in the group and twice as stupid.
this gives people an option to avoid the jerks out there and still succeed in a mission where you need some basic control over the henchies.
if they only give me the ability to command them to stay and not run off attacking at random it will be wonderful

A.net does not like grind and farming. Just look at greens and the Canthan quick leveling for proof.

So I won't need to keep shouting at Talon Silverwing every time he runs into a group that I'm trying to pull back with my bow? Does this also mean the healers won't try to kamikaze run to the front?
That sounds cool. I wouldn't bother with NPC's at all except the noobs don't seem to realise that every class has it's own healing skills and there's a good reason why everyone should carry a rez signet/skill. As for the leavers... well that's the last time I ever try for the survivor title with other players (cept guildies anyway)
Oh yeah and I agree with the previous comment about my own characters as henchies... access to their inventory would be nice too.
