Something is going on.

I've seen several posts disappearing. Its like once they are there after awhile the system either overwrites them with the next post incoming. Or a rogue moderator is stealth deleting them for no reason and without warning or notice.

How can members discuss things when the posts disappear so much.

We do not give warning or notice when deleting posts. We moderate hundreds of posts a day whether that be editing or deleting. If you have a question on a specific thread or a specific post please PM either myself or Lasareth and we will be happy to look into it for you.

And it's ironic to see a complaint on posts being deleted when I have the other 1/2 of forum members screaming that we are not moderating enough and are letting too many posts slide by.

I'm pretty sure that is due to moderators picking and choosing what stays and goes instead of enforcing the rules of the board.

All I know is that I've seen alot of relevant/on topic posts and threads deleted like a breeze of wind that passes by.

And myself and the staff are VERY familiar with the rules of this board. Probably more than most users so this is a baseless claim. Your opinion on what is relevant/on topic is just as much up for debate when compared to any other forum user or moderator. You can not see what posts get deleted so again, if you have a question on a particular thread, please PM me and I'll be happy to work with you and discuss.

I have to remind you that I can see all the deleted threads, I can view all the deleted posts. If I were to see a problem with a particular moderator doing anything as you suggested based on a personal grudge or singleing someone out I would address it. I can assure you this is not the case.

Well it's quite strange for a mod to ban a particular person for flaming (Which is great) but leave a few of the inflammatory posts on the thread yet deleted all posts in response (some not even in response) to those inflammatory posts.

So what happens is that you'll see two or three consecutive posts by the banned user still on the thread. So it really does seem like some things are being deleted by accident or the mods are picking and choosing in a really strange manner.

If it's a large thread, say 20 pages, I start from the back and go toward the front. Sometimes I can't do the entire thread. And again, what you consider inflammatory, to what another user considers inflammatory, to what a mod considers inflammatory varies from person to person. Just because 1 person makes 1 inflammatory posts doesn't mean we'll go back through and delete ALL their posts. It's an opinon that the mod has. It is not a "strange manner".

And once again we have vague accusations with no links or specific examples. If you have a problem with a particular thread or want more information please PM me and I'll be happy to work with you and discuss and get to the bottom of it.
