someone in my alliance has ice
and i was just wondering how you get this?

The obtaining of ice is one of the few what I would call real RPG quests in the game. Having to actually think a little more than simply going out and killing some boss, or taking a package from place A to place B, this quest involves doing something a little different and not initially at least totally obvious.

I really laughed when I found the solution to this quest :-)

btw.. you occasionally see scammers trying to sell ice claiming that it can turn a Fiery Dragon Sword into an Icy Dragon Sword! LOL

In Gwenth's Footprint talk to Kilroy (i believe is his name), he will give you a quest for Sorrow's Furnace. Head into Sorrow's Furnace with him. He will now sell you to the gaurds as salves (in order for you to infiltrate the place and do reconnasince), and you will be required to do several tasks for your overseer.

The quest chill his drink, requires that you obtain 4-5 ice cubes can't recall exact number. This is achieved by leading friendly Ice Golems under the smashers and thereby crushing them to yield ice.There are about 8-9 Golems so you always end up with extra ice.

and if you dont kill all the golems they follow you around and can do some significant damage to the fire djinns as well..............

The quest where you are slaves has other uses as well - because like he implied the Stone Summit are not hostile to you at that point.

The NPC you need to talk to is Galen Trask He is close to the entrance of sorrows furnace. In the open flat area outside the door right between a couple mobs of monsters. Kilroy is another quest he runs arround like a maniac and you have to follow him this is a fun one too
