A "standee" is a cardboard cut-out of something. You know when you go to the movies or to the video store they have those cardboard things sitting in the corner to advertise the movies? Like that, but of a GW character, I guess.

There is a multi page thread in the Nightfall forum here called Collector's edition that would be a good place to check.
A Mini Character standee would be a standee of a character that is small.
So a standee is a cardboard cutout of a character, made to stand up, in the form of a character in game, that is not life size.

I hope that's not true (despite evidence). I'm tempted to pay extra for cool things like Divine Aura or Mini-Dragons... but paper dolls? Nah, no thank you. :P
Anyone here remember the glory days of the game Ultima? They put a cloth map and little trinkets (polished stones, anhk, coins) inside the box - I still have some of them they are so cool!

The European Factions CE came with a cloth picture but they did give it to America for some reason
