Attribute points:
Skills:
Life Siphon and Conjure Phantasm = -11 degen = opener
Offering of blood gives back energy
Life bane strike while foe health > 50% = around 100 damage [50 heal]
Vamp Gaze another 60 damage [heal]
Well of blood = +6 health regen for self and allies for 20 sec
Revealed hex = hex removal at 0 energy cost + chance to get random hex cast on foe.
So far I found this build to be good damage dealer and have high survivability/energy efficiency. Need comments/ideas on how to refine build from experienced necros.
Gear: cabalists armor, +5 energy ^50% scepter + blood knife from collector in the marketplace +12 energy + 30 health + 1 blood magic 20%
Thanks

Earth
I would use the + energy armor. And, can I ask why you have 1 in death magic and 1 in curses if you dont use any of those attributes spells?

Cabalist is + energy armor. I bought the minor runes early; they are irrelevant now.
Pick Me
The reason for the 1 point into other attributes are from runes, as you see, he has 1 point left over.

Max degen is 10, so going beyond that is pointless for the most part. I would def bring in a cover hex tho. Pull some points off Illusion and put in Curses and grab PB. Drop the Blood Well it's unnecessary. Consider taking Jaundiced Gaze instead of Vamp Gaze. Consider taking Distortion- it's a life saver. To recap:
1- Life Siphon
2- Conjure Phantasm
3- Parasitic Bond
4- Lifebane/Shadow Strike
5- Vamp Gaze/Jaundiced Gaze
6- OoB (E)
7- Inspired/Revealed Hex/Distortion
You can find the break points of the skills so that you get 10 degen inbetween the 3 hexes. I know Dist break point is at 8 Illusion.

I run something very similar to what you do with my N/Me. He is my first character, and I am still very new with GW, but I absolutely love Bloodmagic. I like to spam quite a bit with Dark Pact, and I do use blood wells. I think they are great for defense and can contribute to everyone around you. From what I can remember I run something like this, and I have had no problems with any mission/quest ( I run mostly henchies ). I'm as far as Divinity Coast, so I have quite a bit to go.
Blood -16 ( im trying to remember I'm at work )
Soul Reaping - 10
Illusion - 9ish?
1-Vamp touch (great for quick kills and rushing in)
2-Dark Pact (spammer)
3-Vamp Gaze
4-Shadow Strike (crazy first hit)
5-Well of Blood (6 regen for 22ish seconds is wicked for me or even my tanks)
6-Life Siphon
7-Conjure Phantasm
8-Rez
It works well for me, and really I guess thats all that matters
