Temporary Ban Question.

Today I was going to play a little and I go to log on and I get a message that I was banned for 145 hrs.

"Your account has been suspended from Guild Wars for defrauding someone of in-game items,currency, or services..."

The last time I played before this I had an encouter with a scammer, which i reported. I think that Anet may have mixed around his name with mine and suspended me instead of him. Here is the screenshot i attached with the abuse report i sent in.

Well after the lengthy description (sorry) Here,finally, is my question.
Has This Happened to anyone before, if not, do you think its a possibility?

I don't need anyone to do anything for me, just want answers to my question.

Yes, contact their support site (guildwars.com/support) and tell them the mistake lol.

After a couple of emails they are usually ready ot listen to you.

yeh that's your only bet mate... hopefully that'll never happen to me... =S

Happened to me once when I was scammed when running Droks and the scammer proceded to spam me with obscene messages.

I, of course, reported him, and got banned myself.

hmm... anet's rather confused then... perhaps they have to deal with so much complaints that they got the complaintee and complainter otherway around...

Take-home message: be very clear about which name belongs to which person, and whom of the persons have been a Naughty Boy, in complaints to ANet.

And I would claim my innocence even if the ban will be expired by then. Having a clean history is a good thing for future reference.
