how will CE mini-standee look like?(question for anet staff)

well i read something about GC in Gaile´s Journal and there she mentioned she was giving away "mini-standees". My friend was there and he get one small paper picture of assassin. Is this how will mini-standee look like in CE Nightfall? First i thought it will be like plastic figure or something like that, because "GC ministandees" doesnt look like a big deal :/

That sounds right. Alex Weekes described it as a miniature version of the store standees.

But a standee, by deffinition, is a cardbord cutout. If there were including a figurine, they would have said "figurine" and not "standee."

Yet another case of someone expecting something that was not mentioned.

So I'm guessing it'll be something around 6"-12" tall that I could stand on top of my monitor or something? Sort of a random thing to put in a collectors edition or anything for that matter.

Anyone have any guesses as to what the standee will be of? If it's a fuller version of the pointing paragon on the CE box it'll be interesting because at that angle she's pointing she'll be pointing straight at my bathroom if I put her on top of my monitor :P

I didnt even know it was coming with the CE, a new reason to support my paid-in-full reserve of it!

umm....for 90 bucks...that CE edition isnt even close to worht it to me..no thanks Anet..I will stick to standard edition

90 bucks!?! Dang its 70 here...i pre-ordered and paid in full...and its 69.99 US dollars anyway.

umm...you need to start buying from a different store...CE is only $70...

sometimes i forget that ANet does in fact read these forums.

I was being somewhat sarcastic, jumping on the bandwagon of some of the other posters. Hopefully I didnt offend someone with a big red button.

Whoever it is that does the art for the boxes, the website... all the non-game art... they are very good. I think its nice that ANet has enough respect for this lesser-known type of employee to showcase their work in a non-standard way.

Id still hope it is more than just a reprint of the box art-> Im already getting the box-art with my purchase :/

i got overnight shipping on my CE, so I basically paid 80 bucks for it.
But hey, I will enjoy every second of playing the very first day NF is online... and I will enjoy all the little toys that come with it.

Its really just a question of preference. Nothing wrong with NOT getting the CE-> and likewise there is nothing wrong WITH getting it. To each their own.

The CE standee will likely be along the same lines but I would assume it will be a Nightfall character, or maybe they'll give us all Nikas.......

i hope it wont be Nika (and Nika is my most favourite char so far) because they were throwing plenty of Nika mini-standees in GC => i want something special, something that no one has been able to get... maybe Dervish or (P)Arago(r)n

If i could have a standee of any char it would be.....Lukas, he rocks - or better yet - Senji! I love senji hes like the greatest guy ever =D
