Are Gloom Shields new?

I just heard about Gloom Shields and some people have said they are a new skin? Have they just been introduced to the game and if so, what other weapons are new?

yeah... they are like 7 new skins or so. some might be still unfound.

C A R P E D I E M is selling so sweet gloom shields, and some other traders also. Also the other... can't think of the name.. but it shows like an evil face; brown colour; also new shield skin

I found mine in Tombs, the ruins, not hoh. Although I guess tombs is kinda uw.

Heh... now I need to go back to U/W then something new to find!!!

The area makes no difference to the drop, it's the monster. Since Terrorwebs and Banished riders are in tombs and in UW, it can be found from them in either place.
