This post is to determine what build(s) is the most efficient, that is it has the highest xp/min ratio, for experience farming. THIS THREAD IS NOT ABOUT MONEY FARMING.
I have only been playing for a month so there may have been a post like this before so kindly reference to it please.
Please post how much xp is gained and within an hour along with the location and your build (if you don't mind the last two). Follow my format if you don't mind.
My purpose here is to get as many skill points to unlock skills for other characters and skill hunter title.
Prof: Ele/Mes
Build: Arcane Echo, Mist Form, Channeling, Phoenix, Inferno, Lava Front, Flame Burst, Fire Attunement.
Location: Elona's Reach
Number of succesful runs: 28
Number of failed runs: 5
XP gained: 32,900
Time:1 hour
xp/min Ratio: 548.33
min/run Ratio: 2 min 8 secs
Failed runs means that I died before killing the entire group. Note that the time includes loading, picking up items and selling them.
My fastest kill while killing the whole group is about 40 secs, average is about 60 secs, 3 uses of echo. I know this because the echoe'd Mist Form just finish. This all depends on how they scatter though.

Wait, your using Earth in a farming build and ARENT using Sliver Armor?
(try A New Escort, its easily soloable with an E/Mo)
For raw xp / hour, Mesmer or Monk wins hands-down - Shiro'ken farming ftw. I got ~500k xp (35 skill points) there today.

This is a factions ele, I allready have all skills and elites, and I also have over 2.5 million exp. I'll have to try Shiro'ken with 55 mes and 55 monk.

u dont 55 them, use ps/sb to stay on your feet and the visages will kill them

if you want fast exp farm trolls. My freind has a solo farm build for ele/x. Cant remember the whole build but i know it uses kinetic armor, crystal wave, aftershock, ward of melee, aura iof restration. There more to it but i cant remember. He only dies of kinetic armor goes off. Its a very fast build.
