If you followed the news you'll already have heard most of it, but still, here's a summary of the facts as a service for those who don't understand German and don't want to decypher Babelfish gibberish.
- Two new professions: Dervish and Paragon (well known meanwhile, so I'll skip the details )
- "Heroes": While playing through the storyline the player may unlock "heroes" (party NPCs similar to henchmen). These level up with him and may be equipped with armor, skills, etc of the player's choise. The number of heroes a player may have at a time is limited to 3 in order to encourage "buddygaming" (2 human players with 3 heroes each forming a party of 8) instead of solo play. Heroes may be used in a hero-vs-hero battle (2 human players with 3 heroes each fighting eachother).
- Skills and attributes combined in the same menu (button "K"), with a "Templates" button that wasn't functional yet but shall be used in order to save and load builds in town.
- 20 new missions, 300 new skills, etc
- Traps and riddles in explorable areas
- Monsters may respawn (or feign death?)
- Screen changes to greenish color and gets blurry while under the effect of poison. It is unclear whether a similar effect is applied for other hexes and conditions.
- A special monster skill allows a boss to change his appearance and his profession
