Well I tried this some time ago with some guildmembers and it was a very quick run it was a 8 men run because someone needed fow armor. But this worked great and quick I went in as a SS necro
I always go like this,
reckless haste
echo
ss
mark of pain (cast on monk you must call it so warrior knows who to attack)
spinal shiver (cast on monk for interrupting, warrior had cold damage sword)
barbs (cast on monk for extra damage +11 for each physical damage.)
free slot sometimes I bring epidemic (only if warrior is taking conditions with him could be handy if some players quit)
rez signet

further we had a bonder
healer + spellbreaker
exp tank who knows how to agro
2 ele’s nukeres, no echo nukers, take renewal nukers
2 rangers + barrage and some interrupts no healing skills. 1 ranger should bring dust trap and barbed trap and set them in front of the monks. Could be a goody, in case monks need to run
Further I love it to only have players with secondairy monk. So they can bring essence bond for energy management. So you hardly have energy problems and you don’t need a battery

It’s a goody and works great

It has been 2 months ago I went to fow. I did a lot of uw runs but this can also go with 5 men team
1 tank
1 SS
1 bonder
2 rangers or 1 ranger and 1 nuker. (like 2 ranger more then nuker)

Most important thing is that the tank should know how to agro and group them all 2gether
No need for nukers. Rangers can do good damage with barrage and good interrupting.
Important is that 1 ranger focus on interrupting mesmer or he will strip enchants from warrior. Other ranger focus on monks. Choking gas is a goody.
Further I am a great fan of cold damage. Cause the necro should bring spinal shivers.

Good luck and comments are welcome

It would Arcane Echo not Echo, just so as not to confuse people.

But yeah, that looks like a fairly standard type of build to me.

But yeah, that looks like a fairly standard type of build to me. true, but i was focussing more to the necro. i went a lot of times, but i never saw a necro use mark of pain, barbs or spinal shivers. its a shame, cause it makes a run so darn easy. barbs +11 and mark of pain +42 damage to all adjacent foes when target foe takes physical damage. so that is about 100 / 120 a sec if you have 1 warrior and 2 rangers. if you cast barbs with it to you do +53 damage for each hit. what will make +53 for each melee atack and bow attack. monk or mesmer will die in lets say 5 sec, only problem is that after that you have to regen. but you killed the monk or mesmer.

*wheels out the old SMS 3-man setup*

Sword warrior tank with Skull Crack, Galrath Slash, Final Thrust, Dolyak Signet, Watch Yourself, Healing Signet, Smite Hex, Flurry

Necromancer with SS, Barbs, Defile Flesh, Desecrate enchantments, Awaken the Blood, Remove Hex, Rebirth

Monk with Spellbreaker, Boon, Essence Bond, RoF, Guardian, Sig of Devotion (or GoH in factions), Mend Condition, Remove Hex

Stick on a mesmer or ranger as additional damage, another monk if you want build stability, and go.

By the way, Mark of Pain causes scattering.
