I'd be happy to monk, I've done up to hell's on prophecies as a main healer and I monked RoF alone (admittedly the group I was with was really good). The only reason I haven't finished is because I forgot to get droks and I'm too lazy to get another set infused, that and I'm playing my ranger and warrior a lot nowadays.

Interesting proposal and very challenging! I am more a gvg-er than pve-er, but I want to rush with you through chapter 3 with you if you want. I can play 24hrs straight and will stay till the end (I hate leavers), but there are a few conditions.
My conditions are:
1) Take a 3-4 hrs break for gvg with my guild (in meanwhile you can get some sleep or eat or whatsoever)
2) Please let me play Paragorn or Dervish (want to unlock skills for GvG, I am fully unlocked for chapter 1 and 2)
3) I already have 6 characters of the core profs and dont want to make a second character of the same prof (that s why I want to play Paragorn or Dervish)
I have vent/TS with working microphone. I even have a private Vent server which we can use, too. PM me and we can work things out.

Perhaps we can organise somthing, an offensive Paragon or a dervish could easily replace the MM. We probably will need to take a break for at least a fe hours anyway. Unfortunatly the game may take more then 24 hours to complete.
I understand about GvG though, In am also a pretty heavy GvGer.

If you are not fully commited to the team, then you would be letting us down. If we decide to sleep we will all do it at once, and then have to get up at the same time. Remember, If one of us leaves it could possibly keep the rest from going on. As one of the teams monks I have the absolute responsibility to stay and support the group. You won't see me leaving to go GvG.

Uh...the release event is...uh...over.
If you are forming a group for release, it's a bit premature. Plus, many people (i.e. me) would feel a bit safer with Heroes than a quasi-PuG.

I don't mean to thread hijack, but anyone interested in starting up a party with only old characters the day NF is released? I'll be playing my Tyrian monk and necro first to get a feel for the game instead of creating a new character. I'd love to get a party started on here to rush through on our old characters and play as much as possible in the first 2 days or so.

The irony is that a full Hero/Henchmen group will be able to finish Nightfall faster than any organized 8-man group. Why? Heroes and Henchmen don't need bathroom breaks!

Heh, Im a uni student and this is during my mid-semester break. All my friends will be back in America/Asia/europe/melboune for two weeks and I dont have a job so I can concentrate on uni. So yeah not much else to do.

She will understand that Guildwars is more important than her. You can use this as an argument for why I am still single, but my dream girl would understand where my priorities lie.
If this is for real then I have already talked with Bowman Artemis. We will be leading the group together. I run a dedicated TS server for my guild that we can use. It is set to near max codecs so the quality is almost as good as a ventrillo server.
So don't worry OP your group will live on, and we will achieve greatness with or without you.

I will be in the first outpost/town/whatever place comes first at 5:00 PM AEST, aka, the instant the servers open for play.
I'm going to get Kurt to PM those of you that will be joining us with the Teamspeak server info.
