Choosing the best guild...

ok here it is i am making a brand new account and i dont know any good guilds to join.What i want is a nice guild with players that are the nice kind and help you out. so i need some suggestions on the best guild with those qualities.

Hang around capital cities. Lots of guilds recruit; look for ones with guild halls and cool capes.

errr; you're really not supposed to do recruiting for guilds on the forum. Even though this is sort of reverse recruiting...... I'd say your best bet is to sit around in Lion's Arch for a while and watch all the recruit spams. Ask them a few questions and join one that sounds good.

there is a guild board here to post with what you are looking for and then they can email you. i found a GREAT guild this way and am super happy

Actually there is a whole forum created for Guild type stuff, like recruiting and such. But check out the list of all the guilds that posted. They give info on who they are and what they look for in their members.... Big thread - its stickied, can't miss it hun!

I find it's impossible to know whether you'll like a guild, even if you do talk to the recruiter. For me it's the members in the guild that matter, even if just one of them is an immature idiot, it starts to piss me off and I'll eventually leave.
