The Capping of Soul Leech

Yes, I used the search button (I find the new engine highly unhelpful, btw). Lately, I have been attempting to cap my last necro elite, which happens to be soul leech. Now, according to wiki, the boss Goss Darkweb can be located in the bonus area of abaddon's mouth. I have now done this bonus a total of four times on my necro,all in the last two days, and on not even one of those occasions has the boss spawned. Am I doing something wrong? Is there somewhere else that this skill can be capped? Has anyone else been having this problem? Thank you.

Well he's definitely up there, just make sure you're hitting all the possible spawn points.

I had the same problem. The boss I wanted only appeared on the 4th try. For Skill Hunter, Abaddon's Mouth is really annoying. In theory you need to do it 3 times for the dryders, but it ends up being more like 12 if you are unlucky.

Edit: btw another annoying one is the pinesouls in Frozen Forest. There are four places where they can spawn, and four pinesoul bosses listed on Xennon. But the one I wanted didn't spawn. I went around checking the boss corpses 3 times before I realised one was the wrong colour. There is also a ranger pinesoul that can spawn, and he has no elite so he isn't listed on Xennon. But it means there are 5 pinesouls and only 4 places where they spawn. Grrrr.

You're not doing anything wrong. The same thing happened to me. I had to try a number of times before I got the spawn, but it is well worth it--this is one elite you will enjoy using. Best of luck.

You may think you are at the spawn point, and you dont see him on your radar or screen by hitting CTRL. Goss has spawned everytime I did Abbadons.
At the first spawn point, you need to go almost to the end to actually see if he spawns there. I would check that whole area to make sure he is actually there.

i capped this elite 2 days ago after 6-7 months of my necro char being created first time i got him you should of came with me

He finally spawned on the fifth time through. I guess I shouldn't complain, since I got a 15^50 mursaat horn from chest while I was going through. . Thanks for the advice.

I got it my 4th try. I did learn how to hench the mission in the process though and got a gold 15^50 FDS so it wasnt all bad.

I need Soul Leech for my skill hunter too and it didn't spawn yet (tried 5 times)...

On my necro I got it on the first try....
