Is it possible to run Frost Gate with henchman only?
joncoish
I've done this mission a couple times with different characters, but always with other people. I'm just wondering if it's possible to get through with henchman only. I believe there is a place where you need to pull a couple levers at the same time to open the gate, which would require a couple people, but correct me if I'm wrong here.

I don't quite remember but, to my knowledge, all of prophecies and factions is hench-able so it should be possible.
lennymon
Its very possible
Haggard
I used to solo it for cash (lol) - the entire mission, and with hench its even easier.

You don't have to pull a couple levers at the same time to finish the mission. As with all Tyrian missions, it is completely doable with henchies, provided of course that you don't attempt it at extremely low level.

Ok look, ALL missions can be henched.
The Frost Gate missions is really easy.

You have to carry a gear lever around to three different gear boxes and activate them. You don't have to do so at the same time, in fact, you can't activate them at the same time as you only have one lever. This can easily be done all alone. Just like always, don't get overwhelmed with aggroing too many enemies.

Nope. Three levers pulled sequentially.

Ok I've since done it. I didn't mean that I couldn't hench it because it was too hard, but I was under the impression that you needed a couple people to pull the levers at the same time

Which is probably why I still haven't been in either of those.

The missions easy enough to run solo, stopping to kill critical enemies and the like... I did it just so i could explore the end.... would've been quicker to just take hench and do it properly... lol

If you go to those place from Cantha, it is henchable with alot of patience since there are level 20 henchmen available there.

There are however two quests that require human allies to complete in presearing: the rez sig quest and "across the gate" quest.

Yes but neither are necessary to complete. In truth, the only ones that are necessary to even do are, battle to get to Post-War, Iron Mines (infusion), Thunder Head Keep, Final Assault, Ring of Fire, Abaddon's Mouth, Hell's Precipice.
If you can't get a run to Droknar's Forge, you'll also need: Sanctum Cay, Dunes of Dispair, Elona's Reach, Thirsty River, Ascention, Dragon's Lair. You can theoretically run from Ascolon City to Sanctum Cay or Droknar's Forge. Rathcail

Except that the henchmen can't get in, even from Cantha.
