With just over 2 weeks to go to release, has anyone seen any shop (online or high-street) with any mention of this in the UK?

I can't see any sign of it anywhere and can't see any info on the GW site

Nope. But I would suggest you call your local GAME store and ask when or if they are getting in.

GAME did get the Factions pre-order CD in.

lol, I forgot about the pre-release pack entirely and just went and pre-ordered the Nightfall CE from GAME anyway

I wouldn't be so quick to say 'picked up on September 15th', as Anet hasn't been crystal clear on why they changed the name from 'preorder' to 'prerelease', and why the official in-game announcement says that we can 'purchase' the prerelease pack beginning on the 15th. I wish they'd come right out and say that it's free with a preorder, or it's not....
