How many would agree with this change to Psychic Distraction?

Hey, I've been using this skill intensively since the time I had capped it. Now I know its meant to be combined with skills that last over a long time, but what if it was made to disable Spells only.

What it is now:

All of your other skills are disabled for 8 seconds. If target foe is using a skill, that skill is interrupted and disabled for 5...11 seconds.

And what it could possibly be:

All of your other spells are disabled for 8 seconds. If target foe is using a skill, that skill is interrupted and disabled for 5...11 seconds.

It's a small change, yes, and it does not make it seem more overpowered than it already is for stopping certain skills from being activated. In HA I think the main point is to keep using it over and over, so the disabling part makes it seem almost irrelevant. I'm not sure though, one of the most favored classes is the Mesmer in terms of skill buffs and all other sorts of things.

Well, lend me a thought on whether or not it should be updated, or if there are too many skill buffs for mesmers already. I don't mind if you take this topic apart piece by piece and blow it all up, because I want opinions!

Well, for one this would make Power's Rt/Me build a bit more crazy, but in my opinion the skill doesn't really need a change.

It's already a very powerful skill with very large drawbacks, while this change wouldn't really make much difference, it therefore begs the question 'why is a change needed at all?'.

I'm relatively indifferent.

It's a good idea but like Avarre said, why would you change a skill that is fine as is? There is tons of useless Me elites that need to be changed. PD is one of the better ones.

I think the skill is fine as it is. The fact that it disables all your other skills for 8 seconds balances it out so it is not an overpowered skill.

If PD disabled only spells on your skillbar, then you could easily make a powerfull shutdown combo with Blackout, Ether signet, Sig of Humility, Leech sig etc including stances.

It would be too powerful for PvP imo. Same result as if it costed only 5 : you could completely shutdown a caster for almost a minute.

You can hear R-spikers screaming "yes!! yess!! ohhhh yess!!" on the other side of the wall.

Let's talk about getting PI changed...
