My "BIG RIG"
2,5TB of well used space
Asus A8N-SLi Deluxe , AMD64 3200+ , 4x512MB PC3200
My desktop has shitty case so no pics of that today :P
It has basicly the same hardware, except 3500+ / 2 x 6600GT SLi
And not as many disks ^^
Thank god for 100Mbit internet connection without limit

10 SATAs? Wow...
What case is that? (CM Stacker is not sufficient, tyvm ^^)
[edit] Hang on, that rig is very interesting - all that storage and apparently no graphics worth a damn. Plenty of RAM to run simultaneous things like, ooh I dunno, disk burners an torrent downloaders...
Am I warm?

Hmm, no gfx, yet a BF2 DVD in the drive
Ok, I'll leave you alone now!
(hmm, Torsdag - that narrows it down to Sweden or Denmark; the net closes in...)

All SATA connections filled, all DIMM slots filled.
They just don't make boards like they use to anymore.

These are the specs of my new upgraded PC:
Core 2 Duo E6750 @ 2.66 Ghz
2x 2GB Team DDR2 800 RAM
Asus P5N-D 750i mobo
2x MSI 8800 GTS 512
Thermaltake Toughpower 700W
Samsung HD320J HDD
Thermaltake Soprano Case
Samsung Syncmaster 2232BW 22"
Logitech G15 Refresh Keyboard
Logitech G5 Laser Mouse
Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit
Thats all I can think about for now, the DVD drive is some random no-name, might change that in the near future for a SATA one.
Will also post some pics later, since I'm at work atm. But it's nothing flashy anyway, rather boring actually (the looks that is, certainly not the performance lol) :P

Heres mine, hooked up triple screens not to long ago.

Interesting looking PSU there - is that huge, unsightly ribbon cable for the main 24 pin connector?
And why's that HDD so far out?
Needs moar blue glowy - get a cold cathode UV and some UV-reactive SATA cables.
Or is that just me?

Needs more GREEN glowly things! And I have pink UV-reactive 3-pin fan connectors just because they were cheaper than the regular ones :/
I got a new power strip, I don't know if its a surge protector or just a power strip... There's a reset button on it, so it leads me to believe its a surge protector, but it's kind of dinky looking... which makes me think it's only a power strip...

Brianna
All my stuff is hooked up to a grounded / surge protected power strip, it actually has lights indicating if it is grounded and stuff.
I was thinking of putting pink LED fans into my case, because I like the black/pink look - I just have to find some high quality fans that come in that flavor.

Wow, some people here are filthy rich. Want to bestow upon me one of your Tri-SLIed GTX 280s?
Intel Core Duo T2250 (OCed to... 1.83GHz from stock 1.73GHz xD)
2x 1GB DDR2s @ 533MHz
GeForce Go 7900 GS (stock clocked)
80GB 5400RPM HDD
17" WUXGA+ w/ native res. of 1920x1200
Doesn't live up to my wants... Heck, I have to use my iPod as an external HDD since I barely have any space; likewise, I'm running Guild Wars off of my iPod. Only thing I don't hate about my own PC is the 130ppi screen, but the high native res. bites back at me when I can't even play any games at that resolution and am forced to run things with a non-native res.
I envy you people with enthusiast-grade hardware.

Well, what you have is tons better than some others.
At any rate, you can get into a really nice system for cheap nowdays, at the end of the year I'd suggest looking into some last-gen hardware for cheap.

It's never a good idea to drop anything. Let alone the only component in your computer that has moving parts.

Um the dude, lord_shar with the case apart. I have 2 words for you. Air Flow. By removing the side panel you decrease the airflow of the computer that is designed to flow over the heat sinks. My guess is that your fans are coming on to cool your chip set.
I know that it looks kewl but it really is bad for the system. I trust that you just removed the cover for the picks.
Now how do I know this
I fried my processor cause I took my side cover off and there was not enough air flow to cool it even with the fan going.
I am just trying to help
