not a random girl, Gaile is the Community Relation for ArenaNet. She is the link between the fans and the Developers. She brings us news from the developers about what is happening and take our suggestions/requests to them.

Hey, thanks for the welcome! It was a really good trip. 7 days on the Rhine, 2 in Lucerne, Switzerland, 2 in Heidelberg, and then 5 in Leipzig. Got plenty of the "3 C's:" Castles, cathedrals and chocolate.

I really did miss the forums, though. I was 8 days without Internet, which is about 9 too many.

Welcome back, Gaile. We all hope you got to sightsee as much as you hoped. Most of us know (from your pre-Leipzig posts) how much you were hoping to see before your trip. At least you got to satisfy your "3 C's".

I discovered the perfect wine, in my opinion, is Riesling (oops, I had to edit that I spelled it wrong!) and that there are many very fine German beers.

Not that I sampled that many, of course. *ahem*

Nah, I don't have a death wish. I saw it for sale through The Netherlands and, I believe it might have been in stock in Germany, too. That stuff scares me! I've read too much about the health risks. However, nobody died from a wine German Riesling, taken in moderation.

the green stuff is gooooood, couple shots of that and you're screwed the red version is quite good aswell

Absenthe is perfectly safe. Riesling has killed people though...

You shoulda had some. the effect is nothing like the ingame effect. *Cough* not like I would know *cough* *ahem*.
