Okay, so I logged onto my warrior who was in LA, and I immediatly got invited to a party to a player named
EDIT who opened up my trade window and showed me a PERFECT fellblade. Req 9, sundering 20/20, hp+30. He wisper spammed me saying "65K ok???", numerous times, then I said just to see if he was for real "I'll buy it for 50K" (you would too, you know it.). He then closed the trade window and put up a fellblade, but this time it was a clean 14-20 dmg fellblade. I'm assuming the bot program read the inputed values to haggle, as we made no other conversation other than "60K Okay??" and other such phrases. I'm also assuming that the bot program closed the trading window to avoid the new alert message to check the item after a trade has been updated.
I am putting this out here as a warning to all you unsuspecting buyers out there, to beware of this scam. A good and easy way to detect a bot is to try to have a conversation with the person. And of course
ALWAYS CHECK THE ITEM.
Thank you for your time
