Sell FOW armor in the online store. I mean its ridiculous for newer players like me to have to farm or buy plat on Ebay just to get FOW armor. I mean it wont hurt or unbalance the game in anyway.... I d pay 10 bucks per char for a full set..

You buy plat on ebay? /slap

Horrible idea. The only reason fow is so sought after is because its so hard to get. Doing this ruins the whole idea.

Lol..Itd more likely be 10 bucks a piece I think. Im tempted to /sign this, because I have this crazy idea that Anet having more of other peoples money will make the game better as a whole..I can dream.

because you need skills...there will never be anything that will require you to have FoW

and newer players are not supposed to have FoW
and also there will never be anything that you will have to buy money on ebay, shame on you

just to say it again:
YOU DO NOT NEED FOW
YOU DO NOT NEED 15K ARMOR

That would take everything away from the point of FoW, it is a unique reward for playing the game and being smart with your money, if Anet did something like this I would have to quit guild wars, it is bad enough you do not have to earn your skills for yourself anymore.

I think this is more of a joke thread based on the fact that you can get skills in the online store. If you can get skills, why not FoW armor? I don't think the OP ever intended for this to be a real thing.

If he did however, I highly doubt it will ever happen. As previously stated, skills are required to fully enjoy the game. The only armor required to fully enjoy the game is 1.5k, as that's the max armor you can have, and will probably need in order to survive.

Most of the people who have fow armor now farmed for it, why should you not have to just cause you're new? And 10 bucks....... if it did happen should be like 80 per set. Then even if you bought it, it would still kinda hold some prestige of sinking that much money into it.

It wont affect the game? BS. People worked hard for months to get FoW armor, and then everyone goes and buys it legally from ANet. Months of hard work down the drain because some people dont think its fair. You don't need FoW armor. If you want it, earn it. [email protected] suggestion, notsigned.

Oh yes, that is a very considerate and good idea. Why not also add another packet "Get all outpost and missions done with master award for 10$" or what about "500.000k Faction for your Guild - only 20$". And oh this one would actually rock even more "Completely "free" Elitemission Access, only 50$ - we promised we'd give it to you.."

Amen to that.

You don't need FoW armor to play PvE, or PvP. You do however need skills unlocked to compete in PvP. Both probably take 1000+ hours to get for the average player. One they absolutly need to play the game how they want to, and one is just a super expensive cooler 1.5k armor that they don't need to do anything at all.

I have disagree with most of this statement. You do not have to be rich or famous to have FoW armor, unless you consider rich being, having the same amount of gold to get any other 15k armor. Ecto and Shards are expensive, sure, but nobody says you have to buy them, show some patience and just go collect your own.

I understand that you are trying to make some kind of point, even if you have missed all the people pointing out why you're wrong in the relevent thread. FOW armour exists as a representation of effort and money; it is a status symbol. Selling it in the store would take away its meaning. Achieving UAS does not provide you with a little title to display and show off, this is not its purpose. Achieving UAS is completely practical, for a broader selection of skills. If you feel that selling the skills in the store somehow equates to selling FOW armour, not only are you grinding for skills for the wrong reason, but you are playing the wrong kind of game. Do you understand the difference between removing grind in order to gain something for practical reasons, and grinding in order to gain something that soley represents that grind and absolutely nothing else? Apparently not.
