Energy management in 55 monk

How much energy should a 55 monk start out with, and where do you get it? I am on my first day with my new I-monk, and have only 40 energy. By the time I get all my enchantments set I am pretty much out of energy.

A few things: Use blessed signet while casting enchants to gain energy back, use bonettis defense in battles for energy from energy, You can also get a +5 energy sword, although those are very expensive. Enchantments like balthazars spirit and blessed aura should hlep alot for mid-battle energy also. Practice on hydras, or mountain trolls and get better before you go to UW, or else youlll be wasting gold going down to UW to test it out.

well my monk if i remember right has around 42ish...not quite sure since im not on gw right now...but depends if your soloing or not...if solo, say griffons, i have 2 enchantments so i have +2 energy gain compared to if im in uw with a echo ss/sv necro then i have 4 enchants w/o ne energy gain...which then im dependent on the necro haveing blood ritual to get full energy b4 running into a mob...

You should never be dependant on the necro for anything except killing. You should be responsible for your own nightmares, and your own energy. If you have no energy management you have a serious hole in your build that you need to fix.

Interesting that you only list the most expensive course price. If you read the descriptions you'd realize that you don't need to pay anywhere near that much to learn how to be a decent 55hp monk. My original post in your thread was completely relevant to the topic at hand. First, I was responding to someone who replied in your thread, with an on topic post. Second, you were ASKING FOR HELP WITH YOUR MONK BUILD. That is EXACTLY what my academy teaches. If you don't want to pay for it that's fine, but you asked for it, so I have every right to offer. My initiate course would (for 20k) have you running smites flawlessly with no energy issues and no dependancy on the necro, so please don't assume I'm trolling. I get enough interest simply from my academy thread and my UW Domination thread.

I have no idea what Sno's course contains.. but seems to me if you think the information can be found using the search engine.. then what are you posting asking questions about 55hp monk builds.. shouldn't you be using the search engine as well?

I viewed sno's thread, and I have to say, I am not impressed. I have made plenty of money with my solo monk,and all I had was a little input, and some patience/trial and error. He is just profitting off of people who are impatient, and if you have 100k to blow on a class teaching you to farm, then I dont think you really need a class showing you how. DAMN.

Towards Willy Rockwell's questions use blessed signet, and get bonetti's defense up quick. Also, ask the necro to bring blood ritual to give it to you right at the start. Towards Sno, if i had 100k to blow off I'd just take that course to see what your necro and mo/me uses, to see if i got the correct build going(triple SB sounds great).

My Monk has 39 Energy with the 15k Saintly Armour, I like the looks, and it works quite well actually, if you don't care about the looks I really recommend getting tattoo's, cause in UW it's really annoying when I can't get more then 39 energy. The Grasping Darknesses are a pain, cause they drain your energy, sometimes I hardly have enough Energy to use prot spirit in time. (Oh yeah, plus the ghey interrupts 
)

Yeah, he's right, just cast one spell, wait for a full regen and then cast another one, wait for a full regen again, then cast the next, I don't know how many enchants your using, but if you're using 4 just wait for a full regen till you cast the last one, seeing as that's the max amount of energy you're going to be able to get.

To stay on topic, don't ask the necro to bring ritual. It's not the necros responsibility to give YOU energy, just as it's not the necros responsibility to kill nightmares. If you have a good build, you shouldn't be depending on the necro for anything (except killing things, obviously.) I know I've said this countless times, but no one seems to get it.

Way to hijack this thread... If you notice, a LARGE majority of my clients are new farmers, who DON'T know how to do the 55hp build, and are just breaking in to the Underworld realm. As I said in MY THREAD (not just random hijacked ones,) there will be those of you who don't like the idea of my service. My advice to you? DON'T TAKE IT. Simple as that, I offer a highly desirable service, and if you don't like it, don't take part in it. It's also interesting that all the people opposed to my service only mention my 100k course, which is completely optional. IF you only want to learn how to farm (quite well I might add,) then the 20k course is just fine. The expert course is only for those who are very proficient at the build and want to perfect their trade. Anyone who's farmed UW long enough to be very good at it will have a spare 100k lying around, and if they want my help to perfect their skills, I offer it.

for my setup, i have enough energy to cast the 3 enchants that i use. then i used blessed sig, which gains 9 energy, and i just use that till i get rdy to rush into a pack (best to have full energy) throw on PS and HB and just let some energy recharge. with balthazars spirit, u gain energy and adrenaline, which gives me enough adrenaline to use bonetties defense, which makes my energy shoot up. by this time, HB is startin to run out, so i start the whole thing over with casting HB and PS

The 55hp build is a thing I have embraced with two monks. A Mo/W and a Mo/E. To my great satisfaction they work great in the desert with alternating builds. Mo/W uses HB,PS,Essence Bond,Mending,cyclone axe,Bonetti's,B aura(I still use it on my Mo/W)and executioner's strike. These last 2 spells are changeable now that I have SoJ.My Mo/E(which I made first) Uses the first 4 spells mentioned, as well as Crystal wave,Whirlwind,Aftershock, and the Blessed Signet for energy buffing.I'm a serious balance guy,so I try to use both sides of my characters to the best of my abilities.
With the discovery of SoJ,by myself at least,I have a versatile arsenal of attacks,but blessed sig is the way to go for non Mo/W builds.
