Nightfall Collector Edition: New Special Emote Included?!

What may I ask is divine aura?

if you see someone dancing or doing an emote having a glowing thail of sparks of different colors from their hands thats it

different colors for different professions

ele is fire
rit is blue glowing trail etc

Dunno but i ordered Nightfall CE. It will be my first CE and im excited either way. I doubt they will add the Divine Aura to it though. I personally think it was a huge Thank You for trusting Anet. I mean afterall you were sorta taking a chance with buying the CE at the time. It was something new and all and it was never a guarantee hit. So in a way its a rare gift.

Ah the sparkling fairy dust did not do anything for me (just joking), I like the art books though very interesting only if they were labeled (by what concept they were). Also mudy you can actually buy up to 40 “Jack in the Box” taco’s for $20 bucks (I know that was irrelevant).

Meh, I get the CE for the soundtrack, though I've enjoyed the art books too. Everything else is just a bonus and doesn't affect my decision to purchase it.

i got the factions ce for the artbook, nothing else in the package came close to the aura and the headset and special dance emotes for just 2 classes was very very disappointing, i was so looking forward to bone minions doing the thriller dance with my female necro. if only theyd add factions ce dances for other classes too since the aura effects the assassin and rit.

they should add aura to the shop though, its not everyones fault they hadnt heard of gw from the start or bought the standard instead of the ce not knowing it was available

Just what i was thinking, what is a mini-character standee? Maybe an in-game minipet of some sort of yourself i hope

Im also curious about the prerelease bonus pack because it says: in-game renders of characters and items.... this could also be some kind of in-game bonus thing i hope

Ingame renders just means pictures of stuff rendered with the game engine.
Basically just showing off some of the new skins to whet your appetite.

I want the Factions CE just for that artbook, but I was very disappointed that if I had waited only my Rit and Assassin would recieve the Factions emotes.

I think I'm going to wait a bit on Nightfall to see if I'm going to waste my hard-earned-could-be-better-spent-elsewhere money on this CE.

Maybe I'll buy tacos too if it doesn't have some cool emote...

the only thing to make factions ce better would be to have back up dancers for all classes. The art books are cool, I liked prophecies CE better, but I am happy with both and cant wait for nightfall CE.

the art book was disappointing for factions, they filled in alot of it with sorrows furnace concept art... not somethin i hate but i didnt want it. they were missing ALOT of factions concept artwork in it... seriously. the mini standee is literally trash, i will throw that away..it has no use, not even worth putting on top of my right speaker.... i got my factions calendar ontop of my left speaker, that was useful...

seriously, dvd behind scenes is nice, I will watch that a few times, but i want emote stuff along with it, what good is buying CE without being able to show that you got it?... honestly it should follow the same pattern of original and factions at least (even tho backup dancers was for JUST Ass/Rit ..and proph CE = all professions get an aura... )


noticing the posts about mini standee, there was a picture of a nika standee from the last game convention thingy, its dumb. its the size of two full sized hands and its just some cardboard character. boring.

Anet better release some info on this, or they're going to lose a lot of customers to Taco Bell

I realize though, that they can't have every CE add a in-game emote for all classes, just because think of how crazy your character would look if you tried to do well...any emote. We have flaming hands now, next we'll have flaming boots, and then lightning eyes and angel wings, and the backup dancers and it would all be a big mess and probably hurt your eyes to look upon...

I think if they continue with the in-game emotes, that it will be like Factions and be for the special new classes only. I think the Divine Aura though, will continue to be available to every new class.

I think that maybe they should add a new emote for CE buyers in some of the future chapters. Like /falldown or some dumb new emote that we can spam and make people whisper us asking how we did it

While poking through the Sardelic section, I thought about how Anet would have to make a new emote for each campaign and I realized something. It would be a pain to try to think of a new emote each time, so instead it seems logical that they might just give every campaign backup dancers for it's new classes. A new emote would be nice, but the backup dancers is just a logical guess; and it's better than nothing.......

I'm hoping ANET F*** ups again and give the CE stuff like they did w/ the mini kuunavang ^^ c'mon ANET! You can do it!
