How to get 4 Weapon Sets on a PvP only char.

Not sure if this belongs here but hey, its either where the monks go or where it doesnt seem to belong..

Anyway, its a small guide on how to get 4 weapon sets (+ small energy, - small energy, emergency energy, emergency energy hiding) on a PvP only Monk with no interaction to PvE. You may think its impossbile due to the limit of 2 weapons 2 of hands on creation, but you can work around this. I'm making this because many monks ive played with who are pvp only do not know about it.

First weapon: Select the +5 energy sword/axe with any appopiate mods (
20% enchant/+30 health depending on build)

First offhand: Select a 20/20 off hand of your choice (also depending on the build)

Second weapon: Select a -5 energy sword/axe with any appropiate mods.

Second offhand: Select the +15 energy -1 pip off hand.

If possible make all of the the same skin as the counterpart.

now to making the weapon sets.

Weapon set 1: +5 en weapon and the 20/20 offhand
Weapon set 2: +5 en weapon and the +15/-1 offhand

These are your possitive energy weapons, with no tattos you will have 47 energy, and 62 energy respectively.

Weapon set 3: -5en weapon and the 20/20 offhand.
Weapon set 4: -5 energy weapon on its own.

these equate to 37 energy and 25 energy respectively.

You may wonder why you would want -5en and the 20/20, to give -10 less than the +5 en. This is for minor e-denial, ie surge or burn, but allows you to continue to heal.

the 25 energy set is for when your going to die, or have major e-denial thrown at you.

the 67 is a weapon set you switch to after you die, switching inbetween the 25 and the 67 to throw in heals every now and then untill you get to comfortable levels.

The 47 set is your main healing set.

Anyway, now you know if you didn't already. Any suggestions or improvments will be welcome, i might get some pictures of the weapon bar if you do not understand what i mean by +5en 20/20 etc etc.

I read your post like three times and I still have no idea how you're managing four sets on creation.

Because he's mixing up the weapon and off hands to create different sets depending on what the situation is. Or so I have come to believe. Correct me if I'm wrong.

4 Weapon sets are there for different situations, many monks believe they cannot get 4 weapon sets on a PvP only character without spenind money in PvE.

I wrote the guide to show you can, But as you said in IRC that you didnt read it all.

Yeah knew about this but whats frustrates me a little is you can only have 1 set of armor. I mean its quite cool for a monk to be able to take off there superior rune on divine favor if needed.

You were always able to have 4 slots iirc.You just have to go into your inventory and click open those slots.
