GW (and very few other programs) support "spanning" to cover more then one monitor.

For the most part, features like that are reserved to "professional" level programs, like Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, and AutoCAD. It takes quite a bit of work to make a program capable of running on two monitors, and it is simply such a "nitch" market, that nobody bothers.

I also have a dual screen system, and have yet to ever find a game that will span multiple monitors. Even non-games that support spanning are rather rare. My Adobe video and audio editing programs are actually the only ones I use in this manner.

The large gap you'd have right in the middle would makes games virtually unplayable as well.

Matrox offer a triple head feature and spans games across three monitors, but their cards are not suited for most new games anymore.

i thought i had seen someone with a 3-monitor system running GW. maybe not set up to run specifically as dual screen, but it turned the whole thing into a real nice panorama

Here's the Matrox TripleHead thingy, pricey but does a good job.

As for the original question, you should be able to span the area across both monitors via Nvidia's control panel, but tlike mentioned above you'll have a big gap in the middle with only two monitors. That's why I only use two monitors for FS2004, one for the cockpit view and the other being able to be switched between exterior view and instrumentation.

I try and span it, and GW slows right down... goes to like 5 fps or something, I have 3 monitors, set up in a similar fasion to above..
